no..it was purvi coming between arjun and ovi.
it's not purvi fault because she didn't know about arjun and ovi.
but arjun know very well that he has made a commitment to ovi by saying he is ready to marry her.
he fall in love with purvi..but why he wait until purvi accept him and then trying to tell ovi he fall for another girl?
when he fall in love with purvi..he should have tell ovi first and the family that he don't want to get married because he fall for another girl.
arjun has betrayed ovi, the trust and the faith of the family.
and now he is paying for his action.

i agree with the engagement needs official agreements and rituals.
but the point is..arjun has make a commitment..and who on earth will not dissappointed and heartbroken when the guy who said agree to marry her fall for another girl.
it's kind a backstabbing.
