Yes..you read it right.
To be honest..i hate PR nowadays..thanks to its crap and nonsense tracks especially the pregnancy track which has tarnish the image of the show.
PR was not like this..it has it's own magic and strength in ArMan, its tracks and in the characters like savita.
During it's first two years..fights between savita and sulochana, the insults and torture by savita to archana, evil plan by rasika and ajit, and on top of that, ArMan romance and their ups and downs in their marriage..all that has make the show become the number 1 show in indian television with the trps flying high between 5-7++.
But PR today..post 18 years leap to be precise..is nothing but more like a lifeless, colorless show with it's recycled and copycat scenes, crappy, nonsense tracks and weak characters..even savita has lost her spicy, sharp tongue and the devil inside her which many people adore although she is a bad person.
The introduction of Arjun and Purvi love story has caught attention of many people especially the young generation.
But..PR still can not reach the height it use to be because most of their scenes and tracks are either recycle or copycat.
For example ekta wanted to show arjun as a mechanic like manav, the shirts like manav use to wear...
And who can forgot the archana challenge which requires arjun to leave everything..just like in the movie 'maine pyar kiya' starring salman khan.
And another copycat scene from the movie 'hum dil de chuke sanam'..the girl explain about the pheras to the boy.
The scenes and the dialog are 100% copycat.
This has proven that ekta and the cvs has lost their ideas.
But the jodi separated and married with other person.
From what we have experience and like in typical indian television show..couple like this will be reunite at the end.
But i doubt it that even they are to be reunite..the show will regain it's charm. No.
If that happened, the show will become a complete mockery of marriage.
In order to reunite a couple..two marriage will be broken.
This shows that marriage is like a playground..it supposed to be sacred.
So if the cv want to end the show without another scar on it..they should show arjun-ovi and onir-purvi progress as husband and wife and their effort to make their marriage a success and finally fall in love..to show the young generation that marriage is one holy sacrament, respected and should not be broken.
