I agree with you arjun had a choice and should have not listened to purvi but the fact of the matter is that all this happened because of ovi's scheming and plan which purvi fell for in her moment of weakness thinking that she owes archana for the huge favour she did on her

To me, the biggest issue is that it is a form of incest. In India, a jeeju saali is considered a brother/sister relationship. Most Saalis younger to the jeeju ends up calling the Jeeju as a Bhaiyya or if the Jeeju is younger, he calls an older SIL as "behen'. Very much as accepted fact. So, Purvi carrying Jeeju' s nishaani, as some type of pavitra nishaani, will be totally unacceptable and condemned not only in India but anywhere is the world.

Secondly, both Purvi and Arjun did cheat on Ovi by sleeping with each other the night before. The 'sleeping' relationship wasn't some kind of a past relationship that both couple broke away from. They were in an active relationship and one sister, in her act of being Mahaan purposefully gave up her beau knowing fully well she slept with the man in question. Same for Arjun, he knew he was in an active sexual relationship, and knowing the true nature of his relationship with Purvi, he went ahead and married Ovi. None of these adult couple thought or considered for a moment to let Ovi know the truth about this relationship. What is worth is that both were not unknown individuals to Ovi, one was the step sister and the other was the so called best friend. This is active cheating and of the worst kind possible in my POV. Both Arjun and Purvi is guilty of cheating to Ovi and again in my POV, of the worst kind, since both knew what they were doing and did it to a relative. My POV absolutely.

I really dont want to go down the line about who is to blame or who did what and when as we all know what happened and we all have our different opinions and we all discussed this issue over and over on this forum.

I was just making a mere suggestion that maybe the CV's should consider reuniting ARVI for the betterment of PR as many people like to see them together and they have good chemistry on screen. Thre have been so many morality issues relating to the serial and stories from time to time so this would just be another one that people would overlook and forget. After all is just a drama serial we all watch on TV.

i agree arjun isnt happy, but i feel he cld b a very gud hubby to ovi if h wld ahve tryed the way he is trying now

@Green all that glitters is not gold as we never knew how their relation was until they get to the deshmukhs. Only then we learn that they dont sleep together and their relationship is just on mutual understanding and respect for each other. Nothing intimate and love.

All I would tell you is that I personally would not want to marry and live with somebody that I do not love especially with someone with OVI's temperiment, it is even more difficult to even try to love that person. If it is someone like onir, maybe I would try and eventually i would forget the first love and fall for the second even more deeply (like in Akshay and shilpa in Daakhan or salman and ash in HDDCS)

Absolutely, there have been many morality issues in this serial in the past, but not at this scale of an incest, in my opnion of course. The question remains, whether the in-house population of Indians can accept an incest and forget about it as merely entertaining or merely in the name of romance, I guess that is for Ekta and Cvs to decide...my opinion ansolutely...
