Have nothing to say to the Anandi bashers. If you think her and Shiv's being secure enough in their relationship and commitment to each other to not mind being around Jagdish is bad, then what is there to say?
But on Sanchi - I don't think it's a conscious effort to show Anandi down by talking to her ex, because that requires too many brains. If she was trying to be scheme-y in all this, she wouldn't be saying these things to Anandi's ex, but her family. She wouldn't have been eager to come back if she really cared about Anandi being friendly with Jagdish, for Shiv's sake. I think her problem is just that she is very very stupid and completely lacking in social skills for some reason. Anandi gave her all those presents and took her home so she could be with her family on Makar Sakrant and came back early only on Sanchi's insistence, and her own mother praised Anandi's care for others to the skies. After all that, she thinks Anandi is self-centered because she picked up the charkhi for her husband.
It's a serious case of pot and kettle, except Anandi isn't even a kettle. It's like the pot calling freshly fallen snow black. She's so self-involved and self-centered, anyone who doesn't cater to her wishes is self-involved in her eyes, and she has probably never had the sense to look at her own behavior before judging others.
