Kathir is at his friend's house. Ram says that he has no objection for Kathir staying with him. He tells that he feels bad as Kathir is saying that he will neither meet or talk to Bharathi and the love between them is over. Kathir says he had not taken this decision in haste. Ram asks how could he just leave Bharathi and come. Kathir tells him that lovers should not only look on the welfare of themselves but also their family members. He feels that he was selfish these many days not thinking about others. Kathir tells that this could be the best decision for his situation. He says he will feel guilty for rest of his life if something bad happens to Bharathi's mom . Kathir is more worried for Bharathi as he tells that Bharathi would be blamed by her family rather than him. He says he left his love for the sake of Bharathi's happiness which will happen only if her family is happy.
Ram asks him not to hide the pain on leaving Bharathi. But Kathir tells this too will pass on. Ram says he cannot think that Bharathi will be happy by marrying the person said by her parents. He tells him that Bharathi will have thoughts about him in her ming even after she gets married. Ram advises him to call Bharathi and tells her everything that happened clearly. Kathir decides that Bharathi should get extremely angry on him so that she can be happy in her married life. Ram jokingly asks if he is going to say that he loves someone else to Bharathi. Kathir objects as he can never ever think of saying like that though he doesnt know what he should do at the moment.
Kathir and Bharathi are standing near a lake. She looks at him but Kathir doesnt. Bharathi says that he vacated his room without informing her. She asks whether he didnt want her to know the change of his address. Bharathi says she doesnt know what her father said to him at hospital. She tells she will make her father say sorry to him as he doesnt get angry normally. Bharathi in tears. She says she would think that he is calling every time her mobile rings but he didnt call even once just to inquire about her mother. Bharathi is literally crying and asks him how could he be alright without talking to her as she is not able to. She requests Kathir to talk to or scold her or slap her if she is wrong.
Bharathi tells that he would advise her whenever she needs and she cannot think of a single day without him. Kathir doesnt move. Bharathi says she is still childish and couldnt understand anything. She tells her body is shivering without any reason and also she is not able to understand what Mahathi says. Bharathi requests him to take decision based on what his mind says and not what his brain says. She asks him not to behave maturely all the time. Bharathi says how can stand without seeing her. She tells that she never thought she will cry because of him and pleads him not to make her live a life without him. Bharathi tells she will not suicide but live as dead. She leaves as he is not ready to talk to her. Kathir is also in tears.
Bharathi is sitting alone in her home and is crying. Mahathi notices her. Bharathi doesnt respond when Mahathi keeps her hand on her shoulders. Mahathi sits near her and is doubtful whether she should ask Bharathi. She then signals and asks whether everything is alright between her and Kathir. Bharathi tells what happened as has flashbacks of her last interaction with Kathir. Mahathi also in tears. She didnt know how to convince Bharathi who is crying profusely by lying on her lap.
