Their consummation scene in Sony's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which lasted for almost 30 minutes — replete with a lip-lock — had become the talk of the town. As the scene went viral, actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar drew flak for it. But now, it seems another love-making scene — to boost Television Rating Points (TRPs) of the show — will be aired tonight.
Only this time around, it will be a toned-down version and no, there will be no lip-lock. A few subtle hints will make it evident that the couple has made love. Says Ram, "The scene doesn't really have to be bold; it's more about emotional intimacy. This scene has a much deeper meaning and reflects how two people are emotionally connected. The first scene was bold, because the couple was consummating their marriage after so many months."
And how prepared is he for the audience's reaction this time? "We have been in the industry for long and are used to taking both good and bad feedback. You can grow and improve only if you are open to negative feedback. We have ensured that this scene doesn't draw us any flak. Last time, we were prepared for it as the idea was to generate controversy. We wanted to shock the audiences and successfully did so. Whenever you attempt something new, it attracts both positive and negative feedback," he says.
