Yes it will last!! About his possible Eid release But i dont think it will clash i think him and Akshay will work something out as i doubt the other would want Salmans movie to clash with theirs, and his desire to have a solo release !! just because in past clash rumors came thrn dates changed and they might again Akshay can move theirs but was smart move by ekta to announce in advance because no one else tres to release a movie then as its known Salman releases on EID.She prob thinking he wont now that its announced, but in case he does I think EKTA will move otherwise she is hurting her movie in doing better business just my pov!!

I see Salmania continuing for another 2-3 years...after that it will all depend on him...if he reinvents himself or not...People like Rajesh Khanna who are not able to reinvent fade away...People like AB Sr continue...It will all depend if Salman will go the RK or the AB way...because Masala is to Salman...what romance was to RK...

Dabangg 2 failed miserably and didn't live up to the tags which the makers said the movie will get: "break all records". Forget beating 3 idiots record it didn't even break salman's previous collection(ek tha tiger).

Salman is on the way back. He is getting sent where he came from. Akshay got exactly same success when he did comedy in a long phase but then he got rejected and he changed his strategy. Salman's action movies are not liked anymore. People are sick of the slow motion action, everyone can see it's all editing. Also salman is too old for action now, in dabangg 2 he didn't have his six pack. I think he should change his strategy too now and do movies like maine pyar kiya or something like that because these south remakes and action movies won't give him 200 cr. domestic collections or 250 domestic collections.

He always said films should have minimum 4-5 months gap... even if u see sos vs jthj, both suffered badly, both have manage 2 get HIT but not with huge numbers, i am sure if both would have come separately & not in competition, both would have got more success.

Post Dabangg, he took decision making power on his films on his hands, even media criticized him for being rude to production house dictating them, He said if film fails blame me, if succeed give credit to whole team.

Result is in front of everyone, 5 Blockbusters back 2 back, now he is more serious than he was ever in his career, he won't repeat his mistakes what he did earlier.

Next few releases of Salman

1. Sohail Khan's next. It's been rumored to release this EID and knowing Prakash Jha moved his movie's date forward now allowing them to release their film yet again on Independence Day. Note that Tabu has been confirmed for this film and besides that other's will be confirmed soon. Also note his role will be similar to his character Radhe (Tere Naam & Wanted). Remake of Stalin

2. Kick directed by Sajid Nadiawala. Rumour is that Deepika is lead actress and it is to be shot in London with high budget. Randeep Hooda confirmed as supporting actor. It will release later this year or early next year. Sajid Wajid is doing the music.

3. No Entry Mein Entry directed by Anees Bazme, script is ready. Cast will be confirmed soon. Both Anil and Fardeen will also be in it but Salman getting more scope. Boney Kapoor producing it again. Lara & Bipasha are rumored to reprise their roles with 7 other A grade actresses. To release in 2014

4. Sooraj Barjatya's next. Salman - Sooraj combo returning after 15 year gap. Hum Saath Saath Hain being their last film. Supporting cast will be the usual Rajshri actors. While actress will soon be confirmed. Film will Family drama like his past films (HAHK & HSSH). Shooting starts December 2013.

5. Subhash Ghai's next. Action Drama genre film with 90's masala like Khalnayak/Ram Lakshan plot. Shooting starts next January. To be produced and directed by SG. Release 2014 to 2015

6. Ramesh Taurani's next. Salman returning to Tips films after 1998 hit Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai. High Budgeted with cast and genre to be announced.

Tere Naam 2 with Satish Kaushik who is currently writing the script.

Partner 2 with David Dhawan returning combo of Salman & Govinda

Earlier he's kicked ass of biggies from biggest banners with his films. I am more interested in seeing how he matches up when other stars are also going commercial/entertainment way with biggest directors and banners. Hrithik has Krissh, Aamir has Dhoom 3 this year and PK next year. SRK's working with Rohit Shetty (though honestly his offerings seem weakest of the lot, at least as of now).

If he can dominate on his own strength even now this year and coming years then it will be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G feat for him as a superstar.

I think if the cards played correct he can shift to Rajnikanth territory. 1 film every few years with more hype.

I always said only things that can stop him is a jail sentence or health scare. Which he is not taking care of

As for 2013 I do not think he will have a film . Radhe/ Mental was only announced cause Sher Khan couldn't be done . Film does not have a girl and has not started filming but it is gonna come In August yeah ok 😲


Anyway hype for 2014 will only grow with no film in 2013. Anyway let Aamir Srk Hrithik Akshay try and see what they can so...
