Some questions on how we watch films

How do you mostly watch movies? You watch films in theatre. Or download them, wait for TV premiere, watch online or catch it on DVD?

What are the kind of films for which you most surely turn up at theatres?

Please share, honestly, do you catch small or less starry films at theatres - like an OMG/Iqbal/Black/TZP?

Your watching a film depends on its WOM or the stars or filmmakers/banner?

If you watch a film more than once, you watch it repeatedly in theatres or the repeat viewing is limited to DVDs/online/TV?

You really wait for original DVDs of films or you don't mind buying even pirated ones or downloading films online?

I just want to know how much "effort" we make for movies as viewers, how seriously we take them and way we consume them. Do share about your habits in getting access to a film.

If it's Salman's Movie then surely it is MUST for me to be in theatre as SALMANIA is something Not to be missed at all . People and Fans go Crazy for him (including me)which I just loveee .

After then if in rare case I too much get interested for any movie then i go for it Else Not . But It rarely happens 😆

I'll be honest enough to admit that I am not at all bothered about how I watch films. I don't like going to theatres. I don't even download films or get pirated DVDs. I never feel urge to watch the latest film. Mostly I end up watching films on cable or with its official TV premiere. I consider going to theatre only if films excite me to the level that I can't wait to watch them or make me feel they have something different to offer (eg., Lagaan, CDI, Baghban). Subject matters most to me than stars.

If I feel like watching a film again then it's never theatre but mostly TV or DVD.

I maybe a movie buff but I am sorry to say I never make it a priority to watch them in theatres. I am even content with pirated DVDs as along as the movie is complete! 😛 (Though I insist on original DVDs if I like the film a lot, like 3 Idiots).

I never care about filmmaker or banner. Probably the only filmmaker whose name I pay attention to is Raju Hirani.

For me, watching a film is a personal/individual experience akin to reading a book. It's not a group acttivity really. I'm not at all the FDFS type or someone who'd bunk college/office for sake of a film. Lot of acclaimed films, I saw much later after their release. Never been in a rush to catch a film really.

I download it on torrents if the file quality is 720p or 1080p and then transfer it to my Home cinema set😊 for SRK films i usually go to the cinema first show with a couple of friends.

I have watched maybe 5 bollywood films in theatres. Most Bollywood movies, arent worth my 15 bucks, so if I watch them, its in my house, preferably on a DVD bought under the table😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

If I decide to catch a movie in theatres, it has to be worth the experience; in terms of content, visual effects and my personal excitement for it.. so Bollywood is out of the question.😆

To be honest i go often to the theaters but to watch Hollywood movies 😊 the few Indian movies i am ready to pay are SRK films Aamir,Irfan,Vidya movies.i went to watch DON2 with a couple of Dutch friends who never saw an indian movie and there were totally surprised of the Production value of the film and the Camera work 😊 so as an NRI is very satisfying to hear that.but i cant take them to watch movies like SOS or Housefull 😆
