Haare Kaanch ki Choodiyan to wind up

Snigdha Akolkar, the lead protagonist of Sahara One's Haare Kaanch ki Choodiyan had decided to call it quits from the serial. But, almost a month after she made this announcement of dropping out, she is still being seen as Guddi on the show.

So is Snigdha finally in or out of the show? When approached with this query, Snigdha clarified by saying, "Sometime ago I had submitted my notice to quit the serial. In fact, I had stopped shooting for about eight days. But then producer Rakesh Sarang approached me saying they did not want to end the serial abruptly. Even I want to have a peaceful and amicable relationship as I owe my popularity to them, so I agreed to be there till the end."

For those uninitiated, a few months ago Hare had gone in for a revamp with a total change in its starcast and storyline. The first story was of around 200 episodes and on its completion the track had moved in another direction. So, while the entire starcast was changed, except Snighda Akolkar. Snigdha aka Shymalee was shown to enter the Shyamli has lost her memory and is now Guddi.
And now with the lead protagonist of the show leaving, what's happening to the show? Snigdha says, "I guess the producer and the channel must have mutually decided to wind up the show. But obviously they don't want to end it abruptly. I think probably it should end by the end of the month."

Director Rakesh Sarang is more reticent about it, "we have not been informed by the channel to wind up and the promos of the upcoming serial have not yet started. So we are clueless about the status and will keep shooting through this month till they inform us."

While Madhvi Kumar who plays Sanjana bhabhi is busy shooting for her last scene today Rushad Rana who has been the male lead as Dhruv after the track changed from Shyamlee to Guddi informs, "today is the last day of our shoot. My shot is late in the evening. I really enjoyed working with producer Rakesh Sarang under whose direction I had played the lead in Kehta Hai Dil."

Director of Hare.. Sanjeev Chadda confirms, "yes today is the last day of the shoot and 20th October will see the final telecast of the serial with a happy ending."

Meanwhile for the lead protagonist Snigdha, the last day on the sets was a highly emotional moment . She says, "The show gave me name and fame,so it was a e really emotional moment on the last day of the shoot. There was a lot of hugging and crying which happened on the last day."
