Jennifer Winget likely to be back as lead in ..

Ever since ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had announced Saraswatichandra, based on the popular novel for Star Plus, we always had heard the name of Jennifer Winget as the female lead opposite Gautam Rode.

However, only recently the girl had backed out and it was said that the production house was in search for a suitable face for the same. In between, names like Barkha Bisht, Shraddha Nigam, Sanjeeda Sheikh and even Sanaya Irani, came on board. But the latest update states that the channel failed to get the face they wanted, and has gone back to Jennifer yet again.

As per source the production house, channel and Jennifer have had extensive talks after which they have apparently sorted out contractual differences. Jennifer is most likely to get in as the female lead of Saraswatichandra.

The team has already shot an opening portion of the story line in Dubai post which the shoot in Mumbai with the male lead Gautam Rode has started. Once Jennifer signs her contract papers, the regular shoot for the show in the multi-storey huge set erected in Mumbai will begin from the second week of January 2013. Saraswatichandra is scheduled to launch at a prime time slot in February 2013.
