No. Aamir is the only from his generation to get Padma Bhushan till now. And I feel it was undeserved...I mean so early. Other stalwarts with way bigger body of work and contribution than him are still either getting Padma Bhushan with difficulty or not even getting a Padma Sri. In fact when he had got the award 2 years ago, it was criticised. Some senior, international award winning sportspersons had also been ignored. It was controversial.

But when you have Maulana Azad as ancestor, Najma Heptullah as a second cousin and yourself get ready to do any campaign for government that too without charging a penny then no wonder you get favours.

In his generation Aamir is the one who enjoys most favour from government in terms of honours. They gave him an honour for caste episode of SMJ also...as if he eradicated manual scavenging with a TV show's episode! Never seen actual activists getting such honours from Ministry of Social Justice despite decades of actual work in this field!

SRK's also friendly with Govt. I am surprised how he's not getting honours. Ministers even speak against America whenever janaab gets detained at airports!
