The subject means "A kiss on the cheek?" This is a Tamil movie that deals with an almost similar subject, in that a couple adopts a refugee's child and they are torn with indecision when/whether to tell her the truth or not. They finally tell her that they are not her parents, and spend a traumatic time when the child is antagonistic to the mother, and wants to run away in search of her biological mother.

Simran and Madhavan are the main protagonists and the child actress has also done a superb job (a la Yuvika?).

When a child learns the truth form his/her foster parents at a very early age, then there is time to re-adjust and let the great healer (time! what else?) do it's job, then things would work out.

Then the serial couldn't have continued ....
