I know Mohan promised Megha that he'd only return if he found out what happened to Addu...but did it have to go to the extreme it did?

A separation of 12 years...with absolutely no contact.

Yes he loves his family, misses them, weeps for them to the point that even the slightest little thing reminds him of Nanhi, Megha, or Addu...but why no contact? No update?

Okay chalo...I'll let the no contact bit slide...I mean...maybe he felt he couldn't go in front of them without solving the mystery behind Addu's dissappearance.

But as a father and husband...did he have to withdraw financial support too?

How could he let them fend for themselves all these years?

Megha and Nanhi have to bear daily taunts from Renu...and on the other side we see Rimjhim being brought up spoiled with all a kid could ever want.

This is certainly going to be an additional point of resentment from Nanhi's side. 😕

The twelve year MM separation is a sore point for us all! But in all fairness, the fault lies with the CVs ! When a second season for NBT was agreed upon, a leap of 12 years was decided mostly to include an MM separation track as well as a grown up romance ready Nanhi track! So it is what it is, and we're just gonna have to deal with it as best we can! 😉

However though a 12 year separation between MM, a loving and committed couple the last time we saw them, is unconvincing at all levels, I think a lot more will unfold gradually. Perhaps external interference on both sides etc. Somehow I can't accept that Mohan didn't attempt to support Megha and Nanhi for all that time! I won't believe that,until proven otherwise!

There will be some twist in this financial support issue, and it will be shown that Mohan made every effort to provide as best as he could for his family!

I'm sure of it! 👍🏼

I think everyone suffered because of this very long separation..especially Mohan. Can you imagine living every single day with the guilt of having lost your child...and that too your step-child...to be branded an unfit father by the very people you loved more than life itself. 😭

regarding @purple: Whatever happened was an accident...and I personally don't think Mohan needs to redeem himself...except on the issue of financial support. So I hope very much that you are right...and that some twist is shown to prove that he tried.

Yes everyone suffered, that's for sure! And I firmly believe that suffering is suffering...and pain is pain! It can't ...and shouldn't be measured IMO.

But I think that NBT 2 is primarily a redemption track, for all concerned. Mistakes, misunderstandings and misconceptions will be revealed one by one , slowly but surely. Each examined and handled sensitively and sensibly...I hope! Let the healing of all broken spirits ...and hearts begin!

Everyone went round for infinity times but comes to only one question... Why was it a 12 years separation? I didn't have any problem with the separation, but it's duration. I guess we all have.

In today's episode, one of our questions is answered, i.e. why are the mother daughter duo living in Vyas Niwas, and it's because Papaji had wished so.

Just how CVs answered this question, I hope that they solve this puzzle as well by giving us more flashbacks of the past 12 years, and that MM longing for each other, Mohan keeping updates of her and Nanhi, helping them financially secretly and so on. Till now, the writer is doing quite a good job, so I'm sort of keeping faith in him! :)

I'm not too happy with the number 12 either...😆

I mean why not 3, 5 or even 7?...🤔

The answer of course is to accommodate Nanhi's grown up situation and love track. But as a fan of Mohan and Megha's love story...the worry is whether the CVs will be able to do justice to it rather than compromising it for the younger characters.

I'll also miss the younger Nanhi and Mohan interactions...which was what initially got me hooked in season 1.

But like you said...the writer is doing a fab job so far...👍🏼...and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him to continue doing so.
