Cross connection of Ravan and Mahadev

Ravan was devotee of Mahadev and was slayed by again another devotee of Mahadev i.e.Ram and her death cause Sita was devotee of Parvati. His death cause was parvati's devotee and mahadev will give him vardan and chandrahaas a weapon . Can we expect another MU between parvati and mahadev due to Ravan.

I wont call it a misunderstanding-ill call it more of a clash of ideology

Ravan would go onto insult Sita Ma,and being a woman Parvati would obviously empathise with what Sita would have to go through so that Ravan could be slayed

For Mahadev he is his Bhakt,while for Parvati he is someone who disgraced Shakti

The actual connection dates back to much before Ram's birth. Ravan had a boon from Goddess Katyayani, as long as she would reside in Lanka, Ravan will be undefeatable. Vishnuji went to Goddess Jagadamba before taking birth, asked her if she is with him, how can he kill Ravan. Devi said when Ravan will insult one of my vibhutis Sita, I'll leave Lanka, then you'll be able to kill him, as per DP

how many boons ravan got from brahma, frm mahadev nw from adishakti also

@meenakshi-at that rate they should be covering Ravan taking a boon from Parvati/Katyayani too na?

i dont think DKDM will show it,but what does Ravan do that Parvati is so pleased with him

He was a devotee, to get various powers he must have done penanace for all of them. It's mentioned furthe in DP, when Hanumanji went to Lanka, before going to Ashok van, he went to Devi's temple in Lanka. Seeing him she said, she was waiting for him only to come here, now she'll leave Lanka.

If they are going to cover Ram-Ravan war, then Ram too had done Devi's vrat to get victory in the war.

Ravan's tough penanace had pleased Katyayani. She is the one envoked by all the Devas combined, to kill Mahishasur & later merged in Paravti & was also born as rishi Katyayan's daughter to kill Asuras.

Aadi Shakti in her Katyayani form was worshipped by Ravan, not as Paravti.

@mnx12 I came into to the forms just to read your written updates about the episodes but after seeing for forums for some weeks I found out that not only you write about what is shown on tv but also know a lot more than what is shown and are educating people who love the mythos. Wow, now i am getting jelous of ravan's devotions. At first he got the boon of immortality in the form of that kalash that he put in his nevel from bramha, got boon and chandrahaas khadag from mahadev, got protection from adishakti and got liberated by lord ram the 7nth avatar of vishnu. Because of him vishnu himself came to this land as ram. And we still burn his eflegy.
