But you claimed that the judges in your certain competitions took into account the groups' experience, hard work, etc rather than just the dance itself. Well lemme tell you, that's not the norm.. in today's world, one has to claw their way up, with grit and determination, whether you have training or not. In any kind of competition, its the better man that wins. Hands down! When you take an exam at school/college, and youtryreally hard to get an A, but you keep getting a "C" or a "B". The teacher, despite knowing how hard you worked for your exams and how much you've improved since the start of the year, would she be able to raise your grades to give you that "A"? No she can't. Likewise, as good of a dancer as Mona is, she should be judged on her abilities, not on how much work she has done, or how far she has come. Shveta is the better dancer.. whether she is trained or not. First of all, just because she dances so well, doesn't mean she is a true professional. I have some friends who are absolutely amazing dancers, but have had no training whatsoever and have been dancing for many years as a hobby. So there is a difference between what one calls, a "trained dancer" and a "natural dancer." Mona is good too.. actually, i'd say she's great.. i really enjoy her dances (as much as I enjoyed Mahesh's). But I enjoy Shveta's a lot more, just based on her dance, expressions, her overall performances. Since this is a contest, nothing else but the performances matter. I'll tell you one thing.. I barely watch soaps.. I never watched Jassi (unless my mom-in-law turned on the TV during dinner). I had never seen Shveta in any shows, so I have no bias whatsoever. I don't care about who is popular. I only watch the dances. On top of that, I don't like to base my opinions on gossip either (like Toby ran off, or Shveta is a trained dancer, or Shveta is a snob, etc), because you don't know how true or false they are. Most actors/actresses lie about their ages, so to raise the publics' sensitivity towards them, wouldn't they create a little hype about themselves in the media? Which is why, I try not to pay attention to all of those little articles of gossip and just form my own opinions based on the performances on that stage.

Wow.... i was struggling with words to express myself and you put it across in very few but perfect words 👏 👏 .... Specially 'A' 'B' 'C' grade analogy 👏 .... great job...

one mona didn't know how to dance and she changed at every performance
and she came out....
and it shows how much hard she has worked.... to bring that change..
shweta was good at ballroom dancing already and audience wasn't aware of
it.. so when two ppl already knows how to dance there is no point of
competition... cuz in the other couple one person doesn't know how to
dance...

well Good luck to Mona and Shweta.. may the best WiN...

You seem to contradict yourself 😆..Fistlyt you say that svetha shouldnt win, then you say that the best should win..Everyone know who the best is😉😃

I lvoe tht grade analogy 👏 .....n i'd jsut lik to add to tht as well. MOna started off as a grade 'b' dancer while Shveta was a grade 'a' dancer right frm the beginning. So obviously, there's more scope for MOna to improve: she can move up frm a grade 'b' to a grade 'a' dancer....while for shveta it was more abt maintainin tht grade 'a'---which she did!

Shveta is the Discovery talent of JDJ...

Before that no one thought she can dance too...

If she win Sony will be proud...he got Lycra MTV award...also I jsut saw her in one Hindi album "Naina"

am sure more & more offers are waiting for her in Bollywood after this...

While Mona with this fatty body & figure I donno which successful actor she can be paired with....Evenif she loose kilos I dont think she can make a mark in bollywood & even in dancing too....

I agree with Buffie, since this is Jhalak dikhlaja , a dance competition then Shveta should be the winner, handsdown!!! She has such grace, I have never even enjoyed Madhuri's dance as much. No wonder even SLB is so mesmerised with her dance, that he cant help himself from comparing her to Madhuri. Shveta is a treat to watch, she is very appealing. Sad the same cant be said for Mona. Mona is fun to watch, but not something that totally awes you. Its a good performance, like her lucky numebr 8. Not too good and not too bad!!!Shveta is in the show, she has worked hard to be where she is, and so we shouldnt nullify her hardwork just bcoz she has learnt dancing. She deseves the credit for her flawless dancing- the credit of the trophy!!!
Its a win-win situation for both. Shveta being appreciated for her dance and Mona having shown her punjabi spirit and zest with her never say die spirit. I do hope the public doesnt repeat the verdict int he line of the Famegurukul fiasco. Sony is known to declare crappy winners in all the competitions...Indian idol, famegurukul. Maybe they should tell the contestants to put a mask on their faces and mute their voices so we cant tell, who is who and the public is unbiased in their judgement- reminds me of the board exams where we were not allowed to put our names but used a roll number to stop any favoritism!!!

im sorry, but you have offended me with the passing of that comment. i dont think that anyone gave you the right to judge peoples dance based on the perfection of their body. does that mean that bigger people should lose only because of their size? you may not have meant it that way, but you sure come off that way. next time, please rephrase what you are saying, otherwise you'll offend people. cheers.

I agree with u silverwing.................this is purely a dance competition, not a figure contest or a popularity contest........

And i think Shveta is a better dancer , way ahead than Mona......
