Chapter 9:

Arnav waited at his house as Khushi brought her entire family over.

"Arey yeh kya ho raha hai chote?" Anjali asked as she saw Khushi and her family come over. "Invite them in." Anjali said shaking her head at Arnav who was too busy memorized in Khushi's beauty.

Arnav shook his head and invited the Guptas in noticing that Payal had come as well. Once they all got in everyone was mingling and Arnav noticed Payal and Akash giving each other sweet, shy looks. He rolled his eyes at his brother.

"He's whipped." He said to himself not knowing that Khushi had heard him.

Khushi grunted and said, "Isme kya bura hai. Agar Jijaji ko jiji se itna pyar hai toh aapko kya problem hai akroo." She said blowing her bangs out of her eyes.

Arnav raised an eyebrow at her wondering how this one woman could get under his skin and still leave him feeling happy at the same time.

"Khushi what's the plan?" Arnav asked looking at how cute she looked.

Khushi looked up at the handsome man in front of her and couldn't help but smile. She knew it had taken a lot out of him to help her do this and she really appreciated her help. "Follow my lead." She said as she exited the door.

"So everyone, I have gathered all of us here today to make an important announcement. In a few days my pyaari Jiji is going to be getting engaged!" Khushi yelled excitedly and watched as her parents and buaji acted out exactly like she told them too, they were in on the plan, as were Arnav's family.

"Acha, yeh toh bohot achi baat hai." Mami and Nani agreed.

"Congratulations Payal." Anjali said smiling.

"Khushi this plan doesn't seem to be working." Arnav whispered into her ear. It took Khushi a minute to adjust to the fact that Arnav's hot breath was blowing on her neck. It took a lot of out of her to not just turn around and stare into his beautiful brown eyes.

"Three, two, one." Khushi said as Akash got up.

"I can't believe this, how can you be getting married to someone else!"Akash yelled at Payal.

"What? I didn't even know about this." Payal said.

"What's the problem Akash bitwa, yeh Payal ki shaadi hai tumhari nahi." Mamiji said. "And you are also getting married to Sheetal, your contractor."

"What you've been seeing someone else!" Payal yelled.

"Exactly Akash, why are you getting so excited?" Arnav asked.

"Jiji what do you mean by someone else?" Khushi asked pretending to be shocked.

"Listen to me Mr. Akash Singh Raizada if you even think about marrying another girl then the only thing she will even be close to marrying is a decomposing corpse!" Payal threatened.

"And what about your high wedding plans?" Akash retorted.

"Why do you care Akash?" Arnav said again smiling at the fact that Khushi's plan was working.

"Because Bhai, she's my girlfriend and I love her and I will be the only one that will marry her!" Akash yelled out in front of the entire family. Payal stood there blushing at the fact that he stupid, crazy, loving boyfriend just admitted his love in front of his entire family.

The entire family started laughing and Khushi was laughing the most. "Jiji, my future jijaji you both didn't listen to my full announcement, my pyaari jiji is going to get married to the love of her life, Akash Singh Raizada, as our entire family has blessed this couple."

"Oh." Both of them said blushing. The family laughed and sorted out the details of the wedding.

Khushi went to go find Arnav and found him in his room working on a sketch.

"Aap yahan kyun hai sab ki saath baat nahi karni?" Khushi said.

Arnav smiled at his PA and said, "I'm working on a sketch for Payal and Akash's wedding."

"Payash," Khushi said sweetly putting their names together as she sat next to Arnav.

"Wow," She said blown away by his sketch.

"Just tell me how you want your jiji's wedding dress and I'll make it exactly like that." Arnav said.

Khushi looked over at Arnav and smiled. "Thank you." She said.

"For what?" he asked.

"For being such a sweet person, for being someone I want to be around." Khushi said making Arnav's heart skip a beat. Before either of them knew it they were leaning into each other.

"Khushi you make me feel a way I have never felt before." Arnav said.

"Me too." Khushi whispered.

And just like that their lips met in a sweet kiss that showed the innocence of true love's first kiss.

As they pulled away Arnav smiled, "It seems like I have some re-evaluating to do."

"Matlab?" Khushi asked confused.

"I like you too much and my first impression may have been wrong." He admitted.

"Mine too akroo singh raizada." Khushi said smiling.

"What the, pagal." Arnav said as he helped Khushi up as they went downstairs to join their family in preparing for Payal's wedding.
