How was Ravan Mahadev's greatest ever bhakt? It would seem that there were a lot of contenders for that title - Markandeya, Banasura, Tarakasura and his sons, and a few others. In fact, Ravan's encounter w/ Mahadev started not b'cos of tapasya but b'cos he, out of vanity, uprooted Kailash and disturbed Parvati as well.
Banasura used to use his 1000 hands to play different instruments while seranading Mahadev, who used to be so entertained by it that he used to dance to that music. And Banasura did not ask Mahadev for any boons - Mahadev himself voluntarily granted him that he'd fight on his side.
Anyway, a good promo. Normally, I would doubt whether Manish Wadhwa could pull it off as the Ravan who bullied Sita, but he is definitely credible as the Ravan who appeased Mahadev.
