If RK does understand the language of her eyes, he would see the worship in them. i ham sure he will at some point. I just hope it is very soon. (CVs do you hear)

leelaa,

Great post!

Poor Rishab aka RK...the veneer of arrogance is and will be his downfall...ironic, since he firmly believes that his arrogance and biting words amply protect someone who needs no protection if only he, Rishabh was allowed to surface, live and breathe.

Sadly, this arrogance disallows him to see the love his wife bears for him as you rightly said. But it also seems to blind him to Diplai's intentions. She always called him RK. She dumped him for what she thought were better prospects and is back to get RK back for his superstardom.

Knowing all this RK chooses to listen to her, give credence to her insinuations and judges Madhu's love by Dipali's questionable parameters.

Sure, he has his insecurities but he also has a brain and is usually a very astute person. So, what happened all of a sudden?

Clunky plot device and clunkier character delineation happened.

EDiT: Till RK reunites with Rishabh, and becomes one, it looks as if this arrogance is going to be the bane of his life.

Thanks for enjoying the post, and responding at length, Pippa.😳
I don't believe it mattered that Dipali was the person who said those points to RK. Anyone else saying those same points would have succeeded equally.
It would be better if whatever bits of the emotional, trusting, openly not arrogant Rishabh persona are there emerge only for Madhu and her parents.😳 RK is best suited to deal with everyone else.😊
