viren - "Jeevs how much longer are you going to take to get ready? Look me and Zaaine already beat you?"
jeevika - "You got Zaaine ready already?"
viren - "Yeah, he's almost ready. You were taking too much time so I thought I'd do it myself. Come on you're going so slow. Zoya's probably waiting for you also"
jeevika - "Okay just two more minutes"
Viren and Zaaine were both waiting for Jeevika now. Zaaine was quite fresh now as Jeevika put Zaaine down for a nap after the wedding ceremony. Viren finished putting Zaaine in the cute little tux Zoya and Manvi had got him and was putting his shoes on just as Jeevika came out. Viren's jaw remained open and his eyes popped out like an owls.
viren - "WOW. I can't even say how gorgeous you look right now?"
jeevika - "Im not looking that great, and I'm not even fully ready yet. Have to go get my hair and makeup done now"
viren - "Are you kidding me. You look gorgeous just the way you are" he said going towards her and giving her a kiss on the lips passionately.
Jeevika was loving the compliment and romantic Viren.
jeevika - "Okay stop now. I need to go, will you take Zaaine with you or should I take him with me"
viren - "I'll take him, don't worry. Let's go"
jeevika - "Okay"
Jeevika picked up her high heels and carried them with her. They walked to Zoya's bridal suite.
viren - "Okay, I'm going down. I'll see you in a bit. You have your phone right?"
jeevika - "Yeah, and please take care of Zaaine. He seems really cranky. Call me if he needs anything. Or I can just take him with me Viren"
viren - "Don't worry, he's fine here with me" he said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Viren and Zaaine left and Jeevika knocked on the door.
manvi - "Thank god you're here. What took you so long?"
jeevika - "Promise you won't say a word to anyone?"
manvi - "Promise"
zoya - "Jeevs what happened. You look tensed"
jeevika - "Did you check your email?"
zoya -"Yeah cause I had all the free time in the world today right?"
jeevika - "Oh yeah sorry. So after the wedding when I came upstairs to my room with Zaaine, I put him to sleep and was checking my email on my laptop. Well it was the medical board of UCLA. They picked 5 medical students for the surgical program"
manvi - "And?"
jeevika - "Me and Zoya both got selected?"
zoya - "You're joking with me right? Like please don't mess with me today, its my wedding day. I will kill you Jeevs"
jeevika - "I'm not joking. We both got selected"
manvi - "OMFG why aren't you jumping up and down jeevs. Both of you seriously should be so proud of yourselves"
zoya - "Why aren't you happy jeevs"
jeevika - "Because I can't take this offer. Okay we'll discuss this later. Let's get ready now"
zoya - "Wow double celebration for me. I can't believe this right now"
manvi - "Believe it! you two deserve it"
The three of them finished getting ready. Manvi and Jeevika were wearing the same white gown as Zoya was wearing a beautiful cream and hot pink gown. The makeup artists finished their makeup and did their hair. Jeevika did a cute side messy bun, whereas Manvi got her hair curled and had a cute pin on the side.
jeevika - "Girls, Viren just messaged. All the guests are almost settled down inside the hall. They are waiting for us now"
manvi - "Okay, let's leave. You guys ready?"
zoya - "Im nervous"
jeevika - "Don't be. Be excited to party and celebrate. You won't get this time again"
zoya - "I know. Tahnks girls for being here with me"
jeevika - "Wouldn't want to be anywhere else, but here"
The three of them group hugged and left the room. They went downstairs in the elevator and saw the three guys waiting. All three of them went upto their respective ladies.
viren - "You look stunning Jeevika. I could stare at you all day"
jeevika - "Thank you, I love you"
viren - "I love you too"
jeevika - "Viren, where is Zaaine?"
viren - "Don't worry he's fine. He's inside with my friend, Rohan and his wife. He was enjoying with them"
jeevika - "Okay"
One of the event coordinators came outside.
ec - "Okay, Karan and Zoya we are going to be announcing your entry soon. And your bridesmaids and groomsmen will walk right behind you. Any questions"
viren - "Nope got it"
Within another five minutes, the DJ welcomed Karan and Zoya. The main entrance gate to the hall opened and everyone was standing from their table waiting for the newlyweds to come in. As they entered the hall with huge smiles on their faces, their best friends walked right behind them with their partners. The six of them walked to the front center where there was a special table just for them. The DJ introduced the couple once again along with their special friends. He then invited Karan and Zoya to the dance floor for their first dance. Karan held his hand out taking Zoya's and walked to the dance floor. They started dancing to the song Be With You by Enrique.
viren - "This reminds me of that special day of ours. Our first dance as husband and wife" he said slowly to Jeevika.
jeevika - "I know" she said moving her hand towards Viren's and holding it.
After there first dance the DJ invited the four special friends on stage to say a few words. Viren held onto Jeevika's hand while walking to the stage as Virat did with Manvi's.
viren - "The four of us would like to say that we are so happy for Karan and Zoya, truly from the bottom of our hearts. You both are the most unique and special set of friends anyone can have"
manvi - "We feel privileged to stand here and give this speech for you. You both are with us through every thick and thin in our lives. You help us be better people"
virat - "You help guide us our way when you feel something is wrong. Only a true friend can do that. Viren, Manvi, Jeevika, and I would not be standing here today without your help. You two have made such a huge impact on our lives that its commendable"
jeevika - "Also the four of us, would be single today if we didn't have the two of you with us. You guys had faith in us, and because of your faith we four are standing here. Well four and one little boy over there. Today we all want to congratulate you on this special journey you've embarked upon and hope you two have a great life together. And with this I would like you all to take a look at a special presentation we have prepared"
Zoya and Karan had no idea what was in the presentation. All the guests started watching the tv screen. The four of them had made a special presentation of Karan and Zoya's love journey. They put together all the pictures they had of them from their first date, to New York. After the slideshow, Viren proposed a toast and handed over the stage to the DJ who was getting all the guests to come and dance now. Everyone was having a great time now. Karan and Zoya were busy with their guests. Virat and Manvi were both dancing with each other on the dance floor. Jeevika, Viren, and Zaaine were sitting at a table.
viren - "That was a great night and an awesome weekend"
jeevika - "Seriously. Viren I'm hungry can you get some food please"
viren - "Yeah, be right back"
Viren went to get food as Jeevika sat down with Zaaine in her lap. Their other friends were sitting down at the table also and they were all amazed at how cute Zaaine was. Viren came back with a plate full of food. He fed Jeevika who was still holding Zaaine and ate himself. They enjoyed hanging out with their other friends also catching up with all of their lives. Zaaine was falling asleep on Jeevika's lap. Viren picked him up and put him in his stroller. He took his coat out and covered Zaaine up so he wouldn't feel cold.
viren - "Care to join me for a dance"
jeevika - "Viren I'm too tired and my feet hurt. I can barely walk"
Viren kneeled down and took Jeevika's heels off.
viren - "Now?'
Jeevika gave him a huge smile and they both walked to the dance floor. They started dancing with all their friends and ended up having a great time. They danced till 2 in the morning, around when everyone started leaving. It was just the six of them and a few family members
karan - "Seriously though, thanks guys. This weekend wouldn't have been memorable without you all"
virat - "Of course bro. Now let's get going. You two have a flight to catch tomorrow"
karan - "Yup let's go"
The six of them and Zaaine were going upstairs.
manvi - "Man I'm going to miss tonight. Haven't had so much fun since New York"
viren - "Agree"
karan - "Ohh by the way Jeevika, Zoya told me. Congratulations to you. So proud of you, I knew you and Zoya would be selected"
viren - "What are you talking about"
Jeevika didn't know what to say anymore.
