Akshay only started doing this now after all his films started flopping. Otherwise, SRK could usually be trusted to do more films like these than Akshay, but it's good that he has finally started trying to utilize his talent. He's a decent actor who just stars in bad films for the most part.

But so true. I guess for SRK, dream project Ra.One took precedence...plus it was much easier to do also. I can bet it went something like small film, zyada acting..too much work...why bother, they love me anyways and lap up anything I do . 🥱

I know you like SRK(won't say a hard core fan coz I've seen you criticize him where due) but for me SRK has not been SRK only in chak de(I won't say swades coz there were moments where I felt I was watching SRK and not mohan bhargava)..akshay on the other hand has that ability to completely get into the skin of the character..like ram in hera pheri or the blind guy in aankhein!! I agree he's given us a lot of trashy movies(haven't even watched half of them) and also there has been a recent change in movie choices-with salman doing masala movies, akshay's mindless comedies were becoming a less preferred choice of the audience!

I disagree...Akshay is one actor who keeps doing Charcater Actor along with Star Actor Roles...

Even earlier he kept doing such Roles...Aankhein , Khtaa meetha , patiala haouse , jaane man...

exactly-akshay's change in choice of movies was more due to his brand of movies not doing well!!

I don't know if I blame any of these stars-at the end of the day ALL of them are in it to make money-and would choose a project which gives them a higher return! when raone was made superheroes were the in thing-thus SRK's choice makes sense on a financial level if not creative!
