What's missing in Race 2 buzz?

somehow i am feeling a lack of something in the buzz for Race 2. the music has not lived to the expectations. each and every song of race was a blockbuster and a hit album is a must these days. Also after a good theatrical trailer, the makers haven't released many promos for each character like they did for original. are they taking the franchise for granted. i hope not.

P.S. : Give honest answers rather giving *cherry sarcasm* shit. its a request to keep that thing out from this thread. its better the thread leaves with 0 replies than with silliness

The music isn't that great

and the movie totally looks like Race 1 with just actors changed.

As a DP fan, i am worried!

1.Not great actors -except saif and anil the casting is awful (john and deepika cant be trusted)

2.Lackluster music

3.Not great sex bombs -Bipasha and kat were far better than deepika,jacky

Star Cast with no STARPOWER! Accept it or not but Starpower & Fan Following of actors built the hype of a film... Race had Katrina Kaif's Starpower, Bipasha was also in demand that time & Saif's recent LAK success all this contributed to Race's success... The music was so amazing, I was totally Crazy for each song, It was sleek, Stylish & a good amount of Glamour, also the Story was decent but Race 2 falls Short in all departments... No terrific songs, Saif has NO Starpower ATM, Deepika just does not seem interested for this film, the least I talk about Jacqueline, John has no starpower who else left? Anil & Cherry 🤔

Race 2 hasn't at all lived upto the expectations, IMO 🤔

Race2 has no established actor other than Saif. Kat has more star power than DP n JF's combined starpower. Anil n Amisha are out of question. Music is average. I only liked Lat lag gayi...the rest umm...the less said the better 🥱 The trailors don't look much interesting as well .

i dint like race only the songs were good specially pehli nazar mein. so not at all interested for race2...only good thing is Saif-Deepika's hit jodi hope it works for the movie. i like deepika though but surely not gonna watch in plex...tv mein aayega toh dekha jayega😆

I think the movie will be a Hit. I like how they are not promoting the movie yet maybe they'll do it the last minute. I hate it when stars go to every single channel, every show promoting the movie for a month. Take a chill pill. I like it
