Awesome update 😊
Khushi confused about her unknown feelings towards Arnav, concluding that Arnav has become a part of her, not wanting Arnav to be a part of her ruined life but finally deciding that he deserves to know everything about her burnt past was well portrayed
The reason behind Khushi's sorrow being the loss of her best friend + her future life partner, Prashant was sad to hear
Khushi fearing to see hatred in Arnav's eyes was touching
Arnav's hesitation after Khushi narrating her past & cursing the man behind her sorrows makes me wonder whether Arnav was the sole reason behind Prashant's death or was he unknowingly a reason
Waiting impatiently to know what Khushi saw 'But what she saw there was something she had never expected'
Quoted the best lines:
~Part 7~
She was broken and could no longer continue. She turned back to see what his expressions were. But what she saw there was something she had never expected.
His devastatingly painful expressions tore her further. She expected him to shun her away or may be not even look at her, or may be just walk away from her, but not this.
She couldn't move while trying to interpret what exactly he was thinking. But nothing made sense.
A sad dark shadow crossed his face. He couldn't look into her eyes as he finally spoke those words that pierced her soul.
"Khushi!" He almost cried out and looked down.
"It was me." There was a panic in his voice.
"It was me." He repeated again as he looked up and closed his eyes.
What does he mean? Her minds ceased to work anymore.
"What? What do you mean? What do you mean it was you?" She questioned him hysterically. The darkness of the dark night seemed to engulf her mind too. She kept gaping at him with so many questions in her eyes.
His few words had shattered if there was something left in her and then the reality started to dawn upon her.
"It is me who is responsible for your condition." He confessed in a broken voice.
"It was always me," He raised his volume to blurt the ugly truth.
"Prashant died in a car accident and it was me who was driving the car." He closed his eyes since it was unbearable and the worst part was to tell her the whole truth face to face.
"It was me who killed Prashant," He almost yelled, taking out his remorse, in front of her.
It was him. The man whom I loved, who touched my soul is the very reason for my grief in the first place. Guilt seemed to eat her.
How could I love a man who killed Prashant? Who took the life of my best friend, how could I do it? She asked herself
Her whole world started to fall apart and she felt as her legs would no longer carry her weight. Her legs trembled and he rushed towards her to hold her.
"I don't need your help dammit." She screamed as she snapped his hand away.
"I don't need anything from you. No matter what you do, no matter how much you try, nothing can compensate your mistake." She snapped at him.
"Khushi," He tried to speak but she raised her hand and slapped him.
"Do you know how many lives you have ruined?" She spat in anger.
"Were you drunk? Or were you busy with your phone? Do you realize what price others have to pay for your negligence?" She held his collar tightly.
"It was not only Prashant. It was not only him." Her eyes seemed to spit fire on him. She jerked him with as much force as she could gather.
"It was not only Prashant who died that day. His mother's dream died with him. I see her dying for her son every day.
How would you pay for that? Your money means nothing to her now."
She was losing her senses after knowing how brutally her fate had again betrayed her.
"It was not only him, but all my life that was also shattered." She started drop on the ground, holding his shirt and breaking its buttons in the process.
"It was not only him but the dream of his father Malhotara enterprise because after his death no one was ready to invest in it. Everyone thought it died with Prashant." She fell on her knees and cried.
"It was not only him, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada but dreams and hopes of so many people that were attached to him. Do you understand it was not him? Do you realize what you have done?
How would you repay it? By sending a blank cheque or by investing in his company?
Wait a minute, you already knew it. You betrayed me, you played with my emotions. You pretended you didn't know me, we met accidentally, and you were playing with my emotions all along. You have betrayed me." She got up in a trance and she could no longer see as her vision was blurred by her tears.
"You wanted to repay for his life, by having pity on his fianc? Nothing can repay what you did, Nothing!" She said wiping her tears.
"I don't want to see you," She said and started walking from there, leaving him alone, buried in his remorse.
She fell on her bed as soon as she reached her apartment.
I wish I could have read the name of the person who had sent the cheque, before tearing it. She cursed herself.
I hated him so much that I didn't want to know his name but now, I am in love with him.
Blankly, she stared at the ceiling, until her eyes gave up and she drifted to sleep.
The next morning she woke up with heavy head and changed her dress. She was not sure what she was supposed to do. She didn't want to have sympathy of Arnav Singh Raizada. She couldn't give him any satisfaction by easing his guilt.
Bell rang and Payal went to open the door.
"Dee, Suraj veer jee is here and he has all the documents and he wants us out of this apartment, right now." Payal rushed in her room panting heavily.
"What?" Khushi rushed outside where Suraj was smiling slyly.
"Veer jee. This was on Prashant's name. You can't throw us out of here and I don't want beeje to get sicker. Please its better if you leave us alone."
"Check this Khushi . I have bought it from the person whom you gave the papers to mortgage this property. So it's mine now." Suraj laughed and threw a file towards her
"But." Before she could complete her eyes fell on beeje who was all in tears.
"Accept it, you are nothing but a bad luck. If you want to do something for them just leave them alone or they would suffer because of you." Suraj laughed.
Instead of replying him she started to think what could be done in the current situation. She can file a case but even for that she had to move somewhere temporarily, but where?
She had no answer. Option of working with RI was also not acceptable and now in this current state where she will go.
"Khushi, make it fast," Suraj voice was now sharp.
"You stole that deal with RI and thought I will leave you that easily. He was ready to invest in our company but as soon as you met him, Arnav changed his mind.
I knew you are bad luck but I never knew that you could stoop so low for a contract that you will be ready to throw yourself on him." Suraj mocked.
"Not a single word from you," Khushi's voice was firm and resolute.
"Mr Suraj Gupta's you are here for the official matter and I Khushi Gupta, is standing in front of you. If you utter a single word against my character I won't take this humiliation and drag you to the court. Understand?" She told him confidently
"Fine, just leave this place," Suraj said. She was about to answer when she heard someone.
"Yeah, they will leave right now." It was voice of Arnav, whom she didn't want to hear. It was voice of Arnav Singh Raizada. But strangely a sense of relief washed through her. But the next moment she couldn't believe what she heard
"Pack your things, you are leaving this house, right now." Arnav told her
