At First I was disgusted wuth Papaa Scindia's apparent harshness and unforgiving attitude but as I view the episodes, I am beginning to think that his actions were geared to give Yash and Aarthi time alone together and force then to bond as they bear the consequences together... I refer directly to how he listened to Aarthi lambaste Prachant and put him in his place.
I think he wanted Yash to love Aarthi for herself rather than do so because he thought it was the right thing to do.
He did not want to make the decisions but are giving both of them the opportunity to love unconditionally.
