All this Zoya hate is really telling.
It explains a person's level of immaturity and inability to look beyond societal set gender based expectations.
Yes Zoya is messy. Yes she is loud. Yes she wears jeans. So who cares? She's a kind loving person who I enjoy very much. Expecting a woman to behave perfectly so that you can "bare" her is the root of all paternalism. I wait for the day when everyone understands what it means to place such weight on essentially such useless things.
Leave it to 4 Lions to create such a controversial female character. 👏👏

PS: I just don't want to start a fight. But feel free to disagree. I simply could not stand the Zoya-hate anymore. Its pointless and regressive.

i dont "hate" her that much...

but i dont find her "lovable" for all many reasons i have for love loving him...

as for now i m nt bashing or hating her but then she hvnt done anything to fell in love with her

Zoya has her weird ways but I still love her...I really hope they keep a consistency on her strong female character.She represents today's woman... so hail to women power!

I really agree with you. People actually hate her, cause they expected REEL LIFE characters perfect wife perfect husband perfect son etc etc, no one thought of a character like Zoya whom we find each and everyday, among our friends. Shes a great character, and trust me, characters like her are present in the real life too, [i.e. somewhat Me 😆] and i really like Zoya, a character totally different from the main stream characters like Geet Khushi Piya etc. I really appreciate 4Lions for bringing out soo many diverse characters for the first time! It is really soo wonderful to see that they took such a bold step of introducing such normal day characters rather than going main stream. 👏

Completely agree,you just spoke my mind.I LOVE Zoya's character and look forward for her scenes in the show.It is the fact that she is not the perfect typical heroine that makes her far more relatable and lovable for me.Is it too hard to accept that a person can be flawed??And she has much more good and endearing qualities which is being overlooked here.Seriously getting tired of all the hate towards Zoya and sometimes Surbhi.

I love Zoya and I'm quite the feminist by Indian standards. I'm 80% as messy as her and I still couldn't stand her messiness and interference while staying with hosts who are being so gracious. Perhaps Asad's dislike for her stems from his chauvinistic, sexist attitude but I can't agree on extending that label to the viewers here. Maybe some, but certainly not all who dislike Zoya feel that way due to a paternalistic pov.

zoya is not being hated .. but the problem is she is not being loved as we loved the other jodis ..

I am hoping the director and creatives better start building her emotional journey or serious issues.. these all comedy and OTT will not be working with the general fans of QH..
