The Aisha actor has replaced Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role of the romance.
She tweeted to followers: "I rediscovered my passion for acting because of Raanjhana and my love for the human spirit.
"Last schedule of Raanjhana starts day after. I'm so blessed to have worked with @aanandlrai and @dhanushkraja don't want it to end!!!"
The 27-year-old star was reportedly unhappy about appearing bare-faced without make-up for the role.
She recently claimed that Bollywood filmmakers treat audiences as though they are "stupid".
