Anushka Sharma swears off seafood?
This could come as a surprise to all those who believe Anushka Sharma does not eat enough. Well, the notoriously slim actress does seem to have a rather healthy appetite, and a taste for seafood, which unfortunately landed her in a bit of a spot last night.
It was on the sets of Salman Khan's reality show that the actress along with the team of her upcoming film Matru Ki Bijlee..., was supposed to appear for a promotional segment. However, Anushka, who is not known for her tardiness, failed to report on time. Apparently, a seafood binge at a popular eatery had taken its toll on her delicate constitution.
A friend of the actress told TOI, "Few days back, Anushka had sea food at a popular joint and suffered food poising the next day. Her condition got worse and she developed high fever along and a throat infection."
Before appearing for the Bigg Boss shoot, Anushka had to rush to the doctor, but more than her bad stomach, it was Salman's temper that she was worried about. "No one keeps him waiting," said the friend.
Anushka reached more than an hour late and the segment meant to be shot with her, Imran and Salman got delayed by several hours. So did Salman lose his cool after all? Apparently not. But we hear the actress has sworn off seafood for now.
