This woman is so brain dead that she thinks those women who committed Jauhar were rape survivors

They pose as intellectual blaming women to protect their favorite men

"Why die? All they were going to do was sexually assault you, why be a coward"

I don't want to abuse but does she understand that sex slaves are not "survivors"? They had to BURN themselves because they FEARED that their CORPSES won't be spared

It looks like she's full of shit like Kangana but I'm absolutely with her on this one. I've been saying it for years and have had many arguments with my mother over this. This idea that a r#pe victim has lost her ' honour ' just because a man or many men commited a crime on her is sickening and lots of girls are still conditioned to think that even today.. A victim contemplating suicide out of the sheer trauma of the exoerience or due to the awful treatment by the courts or society in general afterwards is one thing. But this idea that once it happens its over for a woman is pounded into so many women. Instead of seeing it as a CRIME people see it as a woman losing the war against the takers of her purity which is such a takeable breakable thing she was single handedly supposed to safeguard. That there's more ' honour ' in setting yourself on fire instead of wanting to live despite whatever that might happen ,, the idea that all chaste women would ( and thereby should) kill themselves just because men might commit crimes on them, instead of wanting to live regardless is truly sickening. Sanjay Bhansali romanticised the mass suicide of hoards of women who were conditioned to think their self worth was between their thighs. Yes ,these things did happen but it's the way you tell the story and the way you shoot it that matters. Jauhar is not something for anyone to take pride in. Least of all men who make movies glorifying the horrors women face just so that they can look at sarees and jewelry under that excuse.

Then theres the other extreme of calling victims ' survivors ' and deciding on their behalf they have ' survived' rape whatever that means.

Evil she is absolutely evil

In her love for those barbarians, she is continously mocking those who didn't want to live as sex slaves

What are you talking about?

Those who committed Jauhar are not victims of sexual assault

Teach us about lives of sex slaves, those women who were sold in markets of Persia, tell us how do you want them to continue living " despite whatever that might happen"?

Do you even understand the torture those women went through? You'd rather those women were assaulted and killed by their "owners" than deciding to end their lives?

How insensitive

People judging women of that time living under rule which allowed slave trading and sold them to be abused, assaulted and murdered

The system or rule is not being criticized, why did women have to choose that? Why did they fear that their corpses would be assaulted? Judging victims who had two options - Die or live as sex slaves?

How difficult is this simple thing to understand?
