Man of the week: Humayun Ahmed

We usually have Celeb of the week or Discussion of the week in other sections so why not have it in here.

I have seen some posts about Humayun Ahmed so why not discuss him fully in this thread?

Humayun Ahmed is the most famous contemporary Bengali writer. He has been writing for over 25 years and has built a sky-scraping career as a novelist. He has been honored with Bangla Academy Award, Shishu Academy Award and Ekushe Podok. He wrote several TV drama serials and directed the movie Aguner Porosh Moni (Philosopher's Stone of Fire). In 1995 this movie, based on 1971 Independence War of Bangladesh, was selected as the best motion picture of the year. Recently Japan's NHK created a documentary on him. He is a former professor in Chemistry Department of Dhaka University, Bangladesh.

Currently he is in discussion for marrying actress and daughter's friend Shaon and abandoning his family.

well, he sounds like an interesting person, but then again why would he through everything he had away for someone else?

I have like his drama...so funny..and some of his books..are very interesting.

i just watched his drama called BUA BILASH
its funny 😆

As a writer i like his writing style!
As a human being I really dislike him!
