Hi Puvi...Good to have you back. That's an extremely valid question you put.
I am going to copy/paste a a post of mine from DC in response to your poser, in which I reasoned why miscarriage is a viable option in the context of the story.
I have been a strong defender of Ayu for obvious reasons. However, if I look at this as a show and trps and all that, my personal opinion will be that MC may be be used very strongly here in the context of the story. Some mainstream serials worked with the MC not happening because the child involved was the first issue. Here, Aayu is not only the fourth one but also projected as a waaris for Yash. Now Yash has gone on record to say that as far as he is concerned Ansh is his first son. But now with the divorce truth out in the open and Prashant entering the fray, Ansh's and Ayu's positions become very interesting. If Aayu is no more, will Scindias accept Ansh as their grandson who will carry Yash's name forward. Will Yash himself feel comfortable knowing Prashant's place in Ansh's life? After all Ansh is no orphan...as he was perceived to be till now. Aayu was supposed to be the binder. Because of him/her Yash and Aarti finally came together (because Aarti ran away for Aayu)...and once again because of Aayu, Scindias may not ultimately oust Aarti. However, what if Aayu is removed from the equation...what then will Aarti and Ansh's status be with the Scindias? This is where Yash comes in...defending Aarti's womanhood and individuality, which has no bearings with her marital/nonmarital status, and claiming his paternity for Ansh with full support from Aarti. Therefore, there are some solid grounds that MC might work with PV...simply because it can be woven deftly with the main storyline...the theme of punar vivah.
Will Ansh be only accepted as Aarti's child who came with the remarriage or will he get the primary status of a Scindia heir...same as what Aayu would have? Edited by InduG64 - 13 years ago
