As reported, the handsome hunk will soon be entering Star Plus' Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar, produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms.

We got in touch with Arjun who is presently in Goa for the New Year bash. "Yes, it is true that I will be entering Kaali very soon. The story so far in Kaali has been emotional with the death of Nimai. The makers now plan to bring in more lively tracks with more of romance. I will most probably begin shoot in the first week of January 2013."

Ask him about his role and he states, "I play the happy-go-lucky guy Om. The guy will help the mother Vani is regaining confidence after the untimely death of her son. Apart from this, I do not have much detail as I will sit for a briefing only after I return to Mumbai."

On the reason for taking up Kaali, Arjun told us, "Well, the New Year is going to ring in and I wanted to start the year with some work in hand. This is when I was offered the role of Om. It is a very nice role, and Om will bring a new flavour to the show."

As per our reliable source, Om is believed to be the best friend of Nimai (Anshul Trivedi) and Sayali (Sonali Nikam) from their college days. Earlier, Om was in love with Sayali, but backed out when he got to know that Sayali loved Nimai. Now that Sayali is in a state of bother with Nimai being dead, Om comes in as a support to Sayali and Vani.
