New Delhi: Bollywood's hottest star-pair Shahid and Kareena Kapoor were in the Capital to walk the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra on the final day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Hindol Sengupta caught the love-struck stars just before the show.

Hindol SenGupta: You are said to be 'Manish Malhotra's muse'. What does a star has to do to keep being the muse of a designer?

Kareena Kapoor: Well, I don't know how to keep being a 'muse'. But all that I can say is that the friendship and the bond that I have shared with Manish all these year just goes on. I have known Manish (Malhotra) for sixteen-years now. Whenever he would start something new, he would not need to call me because he knows that I will be there. I love and care for him. He is like family to me.

Hindol SenGupta: Now that the two of you are set to walk the ramp, is there any nervousness?

Shahid Kapur: I have never done this before in my life. I agreed to walk the ramp for Manish because he is a dear friend and when he requested me, I could not say 'no'. I don't think I will ever be on the ramp again. But let's just hope that it all turns out to be fun. Don't laugh if I fall down.

Hindol SenGupta: You are going to play Helen's role in the forthcoming film Don. That builds up a lot of expectations, isn't it?

Kareena Kapoor: I didn't really have to prepare much as Farhan (Akhtar) was very clear about what he wanted out of the character. We have tried to do something different with this film. It's definitely going to shock the audience for sure. The promos are on air and the feedback we are getting is absolutely fabulous.

Hindol SenGupta: People had liked your on-screen chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan in Ashoka. Now that you are working with him in Don, do you expect similar response? How was it working with him?

Kareena Kapoor: I think it's always been great working with Shah Rukh. He is India's biggest superstar and every actor's dream idol. Doing the classic number Ye Mera Dil Pyar Ka Deewana with him was really a dream come true.

Hindol SenGupta: Shahid, wouldn't you give anything to be in SRK's shoes in this song with Kareena?

Shahid Kapur: I want to spend the rest of my life with youis the only song that I associate her with. That is my way of looking at her.
