Hey Guyz,

Every celebrating who is in Bollywood business & is in Top 10 or Top 20, manage to have Fans out their on Online Networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Orkut or Forums like our IF. Usually you see Movie's Posters/Stills/Wallpapers in Siggies n Dps all the time, u get to know yes the movie is coming on this date in future...

Q1. How much impact does any Celebrity's fans make on Audience going to watch movies in Cinema Halls?

Q2. Have you met Movie Going Audience who will say yes they got to know coz of Internet rather than other media like TV, Newspaper or Magazine?

It increases the no of people the film fraternity has access to-specially on a global level.

Social networking sites have helped to increase audience.

My non-Indian friends get to know about Indian movies through these sites.

Honestly it is actually normal people's(general audience) view which a cinema goer listens to...yes critics effect der opinion too...bt not as much as a fan or a person does who has just returned from d theatre...For ex..A group went to see Dabang...they came and most of them went gaga over how d movie was cool...and how it is a full family package wid no dirty scenes...now dos who come in contact wid me will defo trust dem seeing der xcitement for d movie...😳😳

I honestly have zero knowledge..but based on the random glimpses of words like nri audience/overseas collection I guess it does matter

plus on IF we see so many people living abroad who love BW as much as the people staying in India do

Oh ok my bad...sorry..😳...on topic...to an xtent yes...

Advertising, publicity, promotion, and research,a good poster, trailer have brought a change to d world of cinema...and dats d reason why des day from d very big blockbuster films to low budget projects the industry is taking d help of social media...in other words...wen u are constantly being reminded dat dis movie is releasing on dis date...its a fun movie...full family types...or thriller...or horror...d movie has dis and dat...catchy song...attractive posters...u do get attracted even if u dont want to.. so it is basically des promotions all across d social media which builds up d craze of a movie in general people...😊
