Christmas party ends when Salman calls it a night

Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan, Salman Khan, Parmeshwar Godrej, Ranbir Kapoor, newly-weds Surendra and Alka Hiranandani, Akshay and Twinkle Khanna, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda, Gauri Khan sans husband Shah Rukh Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Bobby and Tanya Deol, Arbaaz and Malaika Khan and many more from the glamour world attended businessman Sunny Dewan's Christmas party held at his house in Bandra, Mumbai.

Interestingly, SRK, who has in the past tweeted about borrowing Sunny's private plane to jet off somewhere was nowhere on the scene, despite sharing a close friendship in the not so recent past. Something to do with the divided factions over SRK's friendship with Priyanka Chopra perhaps? When Gauri was leaving, she requested the waiting photographers not to click her pictures, but to no avail.

The Christmas cheer at the party brought about a conversation between Salman and Abhishek — rare, but true and no, Aishwarya was not a part of this conversation. Ranbir Kapoor who was slated to attend a charitable Cancer event in the city earlier in the day, but did not, surprisingly managed to attend this gig in the night. Karan Johar came in solo but left with star manager, Reshma Shetty.

Abhishek made quite an impact with his exit from the party when he stepped into his car which was revved and waiting for him at the Dewans' doorstep.

Interestingly, the cops came in to check on the party at 1am, then again at 2am and at 3am, and went away without doing anything. According to the law of the land, the music should have been shut down by 10pm, but not here. The music went on till 6am when the morning walkers were treated to loud renditions of Fevicol Se and other Bollywood hits. Needless to add, the neighbourhood must have had a rather restless night with all that music thumping in through their doors and windows.

The party ended when Salman, who came in at 2am, called it a night, or rather morning at 6.30am. That's super stardom for you right there.
