On hold till feb A Selfmade Woman FF part 1pg1

Regarding this FF .. As we know our beloved show left us one year ago...but a lot of things which the story was to be placed on was not met nor did they show Geet trials to be a self made woman nor proper justice.. So my aim is to show Geet through her phrase of life with Maan in the background becoming a strong independent woman. However, that does not mean there wont be any romance or drama, off course there will be. Dev and Naintara evil will be there. And not to forget Geet is pregnant.

My story starts from the point where Dadima has offerred Geet a job as her grandsons secretary but the twist here is that alongside that.. Which i will not show is that in the conversation they had dadima promised Geet to get her into a good college to study as well. So we are starting from the episode where Maan decides to set up his office as home, (so after the Dadima fainting and Geet and Maan in Dargah and realisation of love and Maan allowing Geet to stay at the outhouse).

Part 1.

Maan was walking towards the outhouse. As dadima heath was the most important thing to him he knew he could not stay away from her especially right now when she has just recovered. He had decided to work from home and had called a few work colleagues , Sasha, Adi and Pinky as welll as a few others in. One other aspect of his worry was Geet. She was going to be there. He noticed something different in her eyes yesterday even though she was trying to hide it. He could not be sure. He stopped outside the door and took a deep breath.

Geet was getting ready. She was very happy today. Dadima had informed her earlier that morning that her college starts at 9am and it was not very far. Dadima also gave her new clothes to wear. Geet was hesistant about new clothes thinking she would have to dress in revealing clothes but was amazed when Dadima gave her new kurti tops long skirts and assorted different coloured scarf. She got dressed in a green full sleeves kurti with a black long skirt and scarf. She left her hair opened Geet thanked Dadima over the phone and promised to tell her how her first day goes. Geet was scared as it was her first time setting foot in an unknown area. When she came to Delhi she had Pinky, and then at work she had Pinky and Maan Sir and Adi who always helped her. When she came her she had dadima whi was always kind and opened hearted to her and to her luck Maan was here too.

'Maan' Geet whispered to herself as she stood near the front door ready to leave. She could feel him on the other side. Ever since yesterday she kept feeling unknown feelings for him, feelings that made her feel warm and happy however they were feelings she was not allowed to have. She looked down and touched her stomach. Her baby her past is something that is hers and her helplessnes and she cannot let anyone in her life.

She opened the door and a shocked Maan looked at her. He was amazed at seeing Geet in a new attire. He kept staring at her. Geet's heartbeat stopped looking at him infront of her. She kept looking into his deep eyes and face as he did hers. There heartbeats rhythm matched with eachother. Maan lifted his hand to touch her tendril of hairs that were irratating him and his view of her face when Geet's trance broke as did Maan's as Geet moved backwards.

'good morning Sir, aap yaha itni subha kuch kaam ta kya? dadima...Dadima teekh to hai na' Geet asked worriedly. Maan was always amazed at her. Dadima was a stranger to her yet she cared about her so much whereas he has been so rude to her over the last few days, but Geet never let that affect her or her nature. Maan gathered himself together and replied 'Hmm ha Dadima tik hai abhi,, lekin Geet office ka kaam mujhe ghar se karna hoga, isliye, main yahaan aays hu,..' He spoke in his office tone voice. Geet nodded and was about to speak when he continued

'Kuch deir main office wale Sasha Tasha Adi Pinky, Avinash, Priya aur kuch aur log anne wali hai,, Geet tumhe pata hai ke outhouse hi mera office hai. Tum chinta mat karna.. Tum uppar reh sakti ho, niche sirf office hai..' he nodded at her as Geet nodded back understanding. They stood there looking at eachother silently. Maan watched Geet twist her scarf and looking at the time again and again when Maan noticed she had a bag on her shoulder which showed she was going out.

'Geet tum kahi jaa rahi ti kya?' He asked. Geet looked here and there and spoke quickly without looking at him and replied

'Main woh delhi college, admission dadima part time study, part time secretary, main woh graduation karna chahti ho, aage parna chahti hu jo main nahi karpayi,, mere parivaar walon ne nahi karnediya,,,woh main' Geet remembered how much she wanted to study further but how her family stopped her education due to marraige with Dev and after that fiasco never allowed her to study furthet and then her life didnt give her any choices. Maan looked at her and saw tears were about to fall out when he rubbed her tear drops. Geet looked up at him and they both looked at eachothet. Heartbeats in total sync. Just then a rusle of noise came which took them out of the trance. Geet looked down and was worrying. Maan noticed her and said

'Finally Geet tum apni paairon main kari ho na chahti ho, finally aage barna tumne seekh liya. Im proud of you. Tum graduation karna chahti ho well done Geet, tumhari zindagi main itna kuch hojane ke baadh tumne har nahi mani. Well dome Geet ke tum baaqi ki taara haar nahi mani. Well done Geet. Aur ha main samajgaya ki tum college part time aut meri secretary part time ho ab se,, kab taq tum yaha aajongi Geet?' Maan asked as Geet looked at him with awe and admiration. Again he has given her strengh hope and a courage. A courage that he brought out in her that she never knew she had, she does not feel scared anymore because she knew Maan will be there. A guide philosopher and maybe a friend,

'Wohh ek bajee,.. Thank you Maan sir' Geet whispered and she smiled at him and he smiledd back.

'Ab jao naa Good luck aur ha gari lekar jana,, Geet' maan smiled giving her more himmat,.

'Par main gari,, woh main taxi main'

'Geet mujhe gussa mat dilana jo maine kaha woh karna samji tum' Geet nodded Geet shied and smiled and turned when Maan called her again

'jii Maan sir'

'Tum aaj bohot khobsurat lag rahi ho' he said as he turned and walked into the outhouse. Geet smiled with a warm feeling as she walked towards the car, she knew her day was going to be great, dadima looked from her window and smiled and thought her game to bring these two together has just begun,
