No, it wouldn't, mainly because it's a badly made film. I don't have a problem with it tackling the issue of infidelity or even with the not-so-positive ending actually. But it couldn't have been so much better and meaningful had KJo no directed it. He can't look beyond his aspirational sensibilities which interfere a lot in the film making process, especially when the film's story is so sensitive.

That aspect I agree with you, KJo tried to glamorize it quite alot. But these things do happen in our daily lives. Where ppl continue living unhappily just for the kids.

I think the film might have worked now, in 2012 for me at least! I was a 6th grader back then and now I'm in 12th. So of course I understand the plot better than I did in 2006. I've grown up to accept the realities of life while some people never do. People rejected it saying it gave away a wrong message. It only showed us the mirror! :/

Times change so does the years but KANK stills sounds boring as it used to be in 2006. SRK acting was yawn; typical! ... The movie shows how you should leave your husband despite of the fact he loves you alot. Infact, you should treat him like any other guy and & go to the person whom you started loving after marriage.. . WOW! simply pathetic, no?

No.. this film can never be accepted for the people who value ethics and loyalty more than love.

i would prefer loyalty to love.

Infidelity is the worst scenario of a relationship next to suspicion.

Be it in India or abroad, yesterday or 100 years later infidelity can never be tolerated, whatever the reasons may be.

And in this film there were no proper reasons at all.

they both had loving spouses who gave their heart and soul to make them happy but their mind was set, they were insecure and cheated on them in a cheap hotel where their so called love looked more like lust.
