Hi dabulls usually I agree with alot of things you say but today I don't agree with the topmost comment.
Purvi already had Archana and already had Arjun before she met Ovi and realized that Arjun was actually getting engaged to her own sister.
How can you aspire to be like someone if you've never met them? Never been in touch with them and don't even know what they look like or in fact what they like?
Ovi on the other hand knew that Arjun and Purvi were together and that Archana had been with Purvi for 18 long years in which she knew that her Aai would always be the closest to Purvi.
Ovi wants that undivided attention and love from her Aai. But emotionally all kids know that there is always one child that is preferred more than another. Does not mean that the other children are loved any less.
Regarding Arjun, realistically if for example I wanted someone who was already spoken for, I wouldn't try to barter a deal with the girlfriend no matter how much I liked the guy or even if I had wanted him so badly due to him being the closest male in my life, childhood friend ect.
That's the thing, he was a childhood friend, never a childhood sweetheart and I don't think she ever saw the difference whereas he did.
If he doesn't like you then he doesn't like you and so what's the point of taking it further than that? but she wasn't given these type of life lessons by her parents because one half was an idiot and the other was a thousand miles away!
That's why I feel that Ovi's delicate mind needed her parents help to get over Arjun and this stupid marriage, with someone who doesn't even remotely care to give her the love that a wife needs and wants, should never have happened.
What the entire family actually did was something like what you do with babies. When a baby cries, give them the toy and that's what they are doing with Ovi. She needs emotional support and ALOT of time with her Aai, not something that will allow her to be happy for a short span of time then everything is back to normal, crazy house.
This is all Arjun's fault. Everytime Ovi interrupted him on the phone when she was in canada, saying she has to go somewhere he could easily have shouted, said he needs to speak to her urgently or in fact rang Manav baba to tell him that the deal with Ovi is off, that he's in love with someone else and can't get married to Ovi. Simple, clear and end of story. No tears and no pregnancy dilemma's.
Purvi at the moment doesn't need her Aai as much as Ovi does because she's doing fine for herself. She's happy, has a husband who takes care of her and she's ready to give birth to her baby with open arms. She does not have an emotional imbalance or even a physical one that will require her Aai to always be by her side. So at this time Archana Aai needs to concentrate on Ovi.
Maybe it will be the start to her recovery.
