It is just that he is playing rk a guy who failed each time he loved, a guy who is over possessive over his love possession, a guy who just realised his fault to doubt his lovely wife, a guy who just got the thing he never thought he would!

So obviously he was a little hesitant, shocked, and calm after years!

And yes as far as hug and kiss is concerned! He loves madhu not lusts her!
And he even knows how simple she is and the fact that he might loose all his control if too close to her!!
