It's so scary that an independent woman in her own country cannot take a bus without the fear of being attacked.. This is not just a crime against women.. It's a crime against society.. With so much being said about how women need to dress appropriately or behave appropriately.. I find this whole dialogue absurd.. A woman is not raped because She's out at night or wearing a short dress or drinking.. She's raped cause SOMEONE bloody RAPED HER!! And there is no excuse or explanation for that!! Small men who feel powerful by taking on a young girl minding her own business?! Living her beautiful life?! What Kind of a democracy r we living in? Where a girl can't be all she wants to be just out of fear of men!! Is this India Shining?? Is this even India? Where is the fear of the law? Of the Govt? It's shameful!

Incidents happen...people from diff section comment,give der opinion and den dey forget about it...den after sometimes d same incident takes place with some other...not dat her or anyone's opinion gonna change anything which is shameful...👎🏼

Yes, I read it and really happy that she stood against this matter, but she is M.P and she suppose to do this. I am saying abut other celebs

I have to agree with PC! This tragedy has brought forth the disgusting face of India. This is how we treat a woman. Rape her, scar her for life! It's downright disgusting. Rapists should be castrated!

It's great to see Priyanka speak up on this issue. A lot fo celebs are speaking up and it's very important that they do so...politicians taking note is also very good but it shouldn't just be all talk. Speeches and emotional words are all very well in order to show support. But to bring real change one must be be active and take a stand through their actions. I hope something positive comes out of this
