@Dixie - Umm... I was planning on reading The Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale. It was recommended to me by a friend.. Other than that, my absolutely favorite is The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.. Or we could just read what's new and in out there.. I haven't had much time to look into new books lately.
