Hello all,
I am back...with yet again another ff!
Except this one is much shorter!
This ff is about Karva Chauth...Bani and Jai reunion...what i wish would happen...with a bit of imagination...
Do hope that you all will like it!
I am still continuing with Silence and Breathing...but time is what i need...just to sit down for and write the next parts properly!
Will post the first part in a few minutes!
And part two will follow!
Like i said this is a short ff filled with just my wish!

Today was the day…the day she would mark him as hers.

Looking out at the sky, she allowed her tears to flow, yet not a sob was heard, as memories rushed past engulfing all senses.

The cool morning wind blew coolly scattering her hair, di-shelving her appearance….yet her eyes left not the rising sun that would mark the begining of her day…. her life….

The faint sound of an alarm ringing could be heard, yet it was ignored as her brain was awash with a sudden wave of emotions….which numbed her every breath…
Her lips formed one word…. "Jai"….

Minutes past, but time stood still…locked as it daring not to move…disturb her from the slumber of thoughts that derived them selves from within…

Far away, from his home, he sat holding a glass of strong vodka that dared, at the moment, be his best friend…
He squinted a little as the fiery liquid burn through his throat…yet not his heart.

He was trying hard to forget…wishing all away…but nothing left…it were as if it were stuck to him…and if he even tried to remove all, it would result in death.
Taking another sip…pursing his lips once more, he got up to gaze out at the sky that forever wrote his future.
Sudden memories ran through him…flashing through his eyes, that had once showed love and a deep intensity of passion…..for…for one person.
His hand muscles suddenly tightened as her all too familiar teary face came to view…
The blood drained from his hand…his anger mounted…
In a sudden fit of rage, cursing, he flung the half empty glass of liquor towards the end of the room…hoping that it would extract all…yet failing still yet.

The sound of glass breaking echoed around him….yet still her picture left him not…"Damn it" he screamed aloud, in a deep husky enraged voice… "Why do you always do this to me….why" (his tone softens towards the end of his words….)
He looks up once more at the sky, the cool icy chill rushes at his face…his hair ruffles…his gaze is penetrating and deep…hand is held in a firm fist…

Hours had past….she had eaten nothing…she had not even touched a drop of water which her throat was now aching for…
Determination and love was what fueled her thought…

Holding the phone in her hand…standing now out on the balcony…allowing the wind to kill all emotion…just waiting for it to ring…
Every 5 minutes for the past hour she had tried, tried phoning him…on the second attempt she had been successful.
His deep throaty voice had burnt through the phone, whispering in her ear…as if he were really there….
His voice brought chills of pure pleasure through her spine…
Lost in the moment…caught by want…she had allowed the words to filter through her, keeping silent saying nothing at all…

After not hearing a reply…he had merely disconnected the phone, not knowing that on the other side…the woman of his every thought awaited his return…

Now redialing the number…allowing it to ring…her heartbeats soften and quicken…her breaths unsteady…she reaches for the railing…he picks up….
"Hello"
Same deep voice…it penetrates her soul…his hands flash through her mind…so firm and masculine…just like his hold…
She doesn't reply…heartbeats increasing….

He is irritated…he had been told by his secretary that his mobile had been continuously ringing for the past hour…every five minutes…
Speaking once more, unable to disguise the irritation in his voice…
"Hello….who is this" Voice holding command.
Hearing no reply, is just about to put the phone down when he hears a soft intake of breath…he freezes…
No matter how small the sound…he would always recognize it…it was "hers".
Holding now the phone firmly to his ears…scared to loose contact yet still angry with her…

Walking now towards the window, dismissing his secretary, opening it and entering out onto the balcony…
(The country he is in…it is lunchtime…)
Pausing…saying nothing…but then he breaks the hush, whispering softly…the one word, which had always robbed her of her conscious state….when he alone said it….
His breathing is deep and husky…
"Bani…."
