IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL MEMBERS

Recently, we have become aware that there are many members who use the PM service to harass our members by advertising and giving links of other sites, shows, forums and soemtimes even SHOPS selling garments. Isnt this a big nuisance? At least, for us it is.

This is a discussion forum and we would like to keep it clean and free of all spam and trash.

If you recieve any spam PM including PM's that are advertising any site or other forum. do not hesititate to immediately report it to the Dev Team. You may send PM informing about it to Barnali, s.priya, Bhaskar.T, Minnie anyone. We will deal with them appropriately, or lets it put it this way, we will deal with them in the same way as we deal with an advertisement which comes at the most crucial moment of a movie or a television show 😊

It is the policy of India Forums not to permit advertising of other sites/ forums/ web pages etc, and all advertisements made on IF on Posts will be trashed without notice and the advertiser banned. Same will be followed for advertisements through PM's too.

So remember us next time, when an annoying or not so annoying advertisement pops up in your in box or if you spot it on the forum. We would like to make this place as clean and spam free and advertisement free as possible.

but when I check PM and repy back, a PM message pops again, when i click cancel, keeps popping up..when i press okay, it's the same 1 i replyed back 2

about your problem.. it happens to me too.. I click cancel for the second time... and click on a thread.. it goes away.. Just ignore it... 😊 😊 😊

This pop up informing the receipt of message is quite persistant..almost a battle to get it off after reading the message...😆

regarding those ads..yeah..they seem to be pretty frequent these days and will sure do the needful.

Ofcourse, MODS would not want any member being harassed by another, right? Each member should be "sensitive" to other members (feelings, beliefs, and privacy etc), correct?

Report people who are using PM service to harass members?

Does that also include people who make up fake PMs of innocent members? Does that count as harassment?

Do you ACTUALLY believe that someone will sit on the computer and write fake PM's?? 😕 😕

We all have a life too you know. We have a family, we have work where we need to be 9-5, 6 days a week .. do you think we have so much free time that we sit down and write fake PM's for the 170,000 members so that they can be banned??

Sheesh ... you guys are right ... Common sense is not so common 😕

i warned yu all earlier too and again saying the same. don't distrupt the normal functioning of the forum. any more such posts and we may b forced to take action now. take this as the last warning now from dev team.
