why do movies cross 100/200 barriers(??) easily

I used to buy tickets for 50Rs 10 years ago. At PVR a ticket value is 500+

Majority of fans of those 100/200 Cr films in this forum is hardly 5%, baaki jo 95% hai un stars ki films khaali 60-100 ke beech hi jholti rehti hai with critical acclaim, so poll result will be in 2nd option's favor for sure 😆

a mixs of hype + lead actors + great songs that build more hype + offers entertainment

who cares about 60-100 crore movie ji

these are all about the amazing movies that crossed the 100 crore mark...which even sholay or mother india couldnt in its initial release

Still if u want to know - Adjusted Inflated Nett of Both film are 100 Cr+

Sholay = 162 Cr

Mother India = 117 Cr

which means present scenario of money earn equal to that time money earned.

Im comparing only on BOx office- Money. It is valid and in question.

inflation was one of my options(increased ticket rates). I messed up creating it.

I dont know where u get the adjusted inflation rates. I was going by wikipedia which doesnt state that.

than there are exceptions for films like Barfi not much hype great lead actors great story & and the same time offered entertainment

Barfi was not hyped 😕 it was vry much hyped frm the day it stared shooting...frm BKs mustache to PC's cute hair style everything was a news maker n then suddenly the news abt Oscars came n ppl started flocking the plexes n the main profit began

i made two mistakes when creating this poll

1. left out increased ticket price
2. left out vote one time only
