Hello,

So everyone here seems very much against Trishna at the moment, so I thought I'd just look at the whole Trishna issue with fresh perspective.

First, she's absolutely right in questioning Padmini. Pads is being extremely illogical in leaving the house and claiming she's not going to forgive Mallik for what he did for his daughter, but keep KC for Ballu and pray for his long-life after all he has done! That is absolutely stupid. And Trishna correctly pointed it out. Even now, she's right in saying Pads is using Mallik. She left the house and decided to severe all relationships with him because of one mistake he did! That is completely unfair to Mallik and Trishna is absolutely right in pointing it out. I won't even go as far to say the way she said is wrong. For a thick-skull like Pads, using harsh words is necessary, and even then futile.

Second, now the more problematic bit, how she treats Madhu, and even in this aspect I think Trishna is right. First, she feels that RK has married her for revenge and there is no feelings there. From what she has noticed, this is a fair assessment to make. He did marry for revenge and all the time she has seen him, he has behaved ruthlessly with Madhu and the family - before the marriage and at the hospital. Everything she has probably read about him point to him being ruthless.

Third, I will admit that cursing Madhu got a bit too much. But let's look at it from her perspective. Trishna's life has been turned upside down and it's all because Madhu decided to take a stand against RK in the first place, when everyone warned her not to. She's got every right to be pissed - I know I would be. She has every right to be irritated that Madhu now wants to settle her life, fall in love, etc when the rest of the family is struggling. Madhu refused to forgive Mallik for what he did, and therefore her brilliant mother refuses to.

Next time when cursing Trishna, let's just look at it from a humane perspective. I would be angry at Madhu too if I were Trishna.

Edited to say: I'm not saying cursing is right. I agree it's uncalled for. But just looking at the issue from Trishna's perspective and I feel it happens in anger. She's human afterall.

Well said Athena!
Glad u made this post!
U have described Trishna's perspective very well!
1. Madhu's decision to go against RK shattered her family's peace forever.
2. Padmini had got 1000 benefits from Malik, he saved her life, he gave her shelter and protection, without expecting anything in return. But for a single mistake of his, he is being punished too far.
3. Trishna has only seen RK ill-treating Madhu, she has not seen the changed Madhu.
4. She is annoyed to see Madhu and her romance, when her whole family is broken!

From Trishna's perspective, whatever she has done seems justified, to me atleast.

But Yet, I feel bad for Madhu, the happiness she had recently has vanished.
On one side, RK has disappointed her by not turning up.
On the other side Trishna's pricking words.!
Poor Madhu..
My heart goes out to her!

I understand your point; however, I believe Trishna has crossed a line by wishing bad things for Madhubala. I understand why Trishna is angry at Padmini and Madhubala and her arguments do have some merit, but do not forget Trishna was on Madhubala's side when she decided to put RK in jail for hitting Mukund before Trishna knew it was RK. After they realized it was RK driving the car, everyone was still on Madhuba;a's side, except Trishna and Roma.

I agree with some things but not with it all...I don't think anyone should not stand up for their rights simply because it'll cause too much discomfort to themselves and others...yes, maybe Madhu was being selfish by standing up against RK at the beginning of this show, but it's something she believed in and I think she was right in making sure RK understood what he did was wrong...Madhu also suffered the consequences from it. Mukund broke the engagement, she was forced into marriage to RK to save Malik etc...so it's not like she hasn't suffered enough either.

Needless to say, I understand Trishna's frustration though and considering that her family has been torn apart because of RK - I don't blame her for hating RK but I also don't think its fair to blame Madhu though maybe this is not the right time for Madhu to tell them all about a changed RK and how she loves him.

Your POV in your place, and agreeing on what you have to say on Paddy-Madhu-Shamshoo angle, i totally disagree on the cursing MB part.

No matter what your ice bricks are with your family , cursing them a lifetime of hell and being okay with it is not 'humane'. Madhubala may not be exactly Trishna's flesh and blood, but she is her sister. A girl your mother ran from Motihari to save, a girl you saw come into the world, a girl with whom you spent your best years... a girl you were bound to emotionally. You may end up hating her for some reason or the other, but if you would have ever loved her with an ounce of your heart, your throat would clog before the curses come out.

Being hurt and angry is one thing. Being cruel and heartless is another.Just like Paddy and Madhubala are not understanding Shamshoo's side which shockingly RK did, same way Trishna is not seeing Madhubala's side or her heart that is just trying to hope after it died.

If I am unhappy, it doesn't mean I take away someone else's right to be happy., That is sort of less than being even human.

My opinion.

I agree its not nice to curse, but she's really angry and we all do irrational things in anger. Let's not go so far as to say heart if black and all.

I agree with your first two points but disagree with the last one. Her whole frustration with Madhu stems from the fact that SHE DID NOT BECOME A HEROINE!!! Till the time RK was acting good with them, she thought what MB had done was right as it got her a break but once RK showed his true colours then MB is wrong..I would be mad at RK not Madhu..In fact I would probably not have supported MB stand against RK but I would not have blamed her either. The entire thing happened because of RK's ego. And nobody gives any body a badhua especially not sister who has love you so much. From the beginning we have seen MB being affectionate towards her and Trishna behaving arrogantly (Thinking she is heroine material).
Madhu did forgive Malik and she said so herself. As a wife I do not see why Madhu should forgive Malik especially considering her feelings for RK. If my father had attacked my husband, I would probably not have forgiven him even as a daughter.
When you point a finger at someone, three fingers point towards you...

When people are angry they do say irrational things, but cursing your sister? That seemss a little far-fetched!

True, I'm not denying Madhu has suffered. But from someone else's perspective - you suffer as a consequence of your actions is fair. If your family, loved ones and everyone else suffers, then that's unfair.

Its of course a matter of timing as well. As a mother, one would always be happy for one's children. But as sister, her life is completely turned upside down. I'm happy that Trishna is being scripted as a proper character with both positives and negative shades and is legitly frustrated.
