Asin, whose Khiladi 786 along with Akshay Kumar just released to mixed reviews, explained to Sunny Malik as to why she once said to Mid-day that she 'sucked at PR'.
She said, "I like to talk and have a conversation, but what I meant by 'I suck at PR', is that I am not good at PR strategies. People in the industry make themselves more popular, sensational and controversial. They keep themselves in the limelight. When I said that I am not good at my own PR, I really meant that I am not good at blowing my own trumpet. I love to interact and I like to listen to people more than talk. That is what I don't like about promotions that we just talk, talk and talk."
"I am not good at strategizing, highlighting my strengths, going about town saying I did this and that, creating a sensational story, putting out rumors or being seen at the right places at the right time just for the sake of visibility or networking. I am really bad at these things."
