Tehzeeb is derived from Arabic and it literally means "trimming or cutting out the bad, harmful, useless, obscene parts of the looks, speech, behavior etc". However, the context in which it is used in Qubool Hai means culturally well-mannered and disciplined. Simply put, "tehzeeb" is the proper display of manners & etiquettes that accompany the Muslim culture (& perhaps many others, just under a different name).
Hope I helped!

Hahaha I guess I went a little overboard with the definition(: excuse the lengthiness of my reply. I apologize.

P.S. - I'm really incompetent when it comes to sarcasm so I can't tell whether you were serious about your question. Haha but I'll answer it anyways. No I don't teach Urdu anywhere. I self-teach myself urdu because I've lived in Chicago all my life but I find my language beautiful and poetic.. Wouldn't wanna miss out on it(:

Thank you for helping all us non-Urdu speakers! I had trouble with today's precap (Dec 5th). Don't really understand what Asad said. I get the gist of it, but didn't understand the words he used. It would be great if you could translate!

what asad said was the problem is not with zo but with her parents...if her upbringing would be good she would not be like this
and if his mom would not persist on her stay he would never had her in his home...
so zo says to tell it clearly that he does like her staying here...asad tells if she feels so she is free to leave

maybe what u dint understand is nek tarbiyat...it means well upbringing
and amada ( agar ammi aapko yahan rakhne pe amada nahi hoti tho...) it means persistence...
i hope i could help u 😊
