"Morning, Viren!"

Viren came back from his deep thoughts and smiled as he felt Jeevika's soft lips on his cheek. He pulled her closer, snugging in his warm bed. "Good morning! When did you get up?"

"When you busy in your own world, what were you thinking all this while? You didn't even realized that I have been watching you since the past five minutes?"

"Five minutes? Really?" and his gaze fell on the wall clock, his smile vanished. It was almost 8:30 and both of them were still in bed. "Jeevika it is 8:30! Badi Maa must be worried. What if she is looking for us? And you are not even in your room ? You should leave now!" Viren shouted, pulling of the duvet, he almost jumped out of bed. He went to closet and pulled out a shirt and trousers and hurried himself to the bathroom banging the door behind him. A second later he opened the door and looked at a confused Jeevika still lying in bed. "LEAVE!" he exclaimed, pointing toward the door.

He came out after a couple of minutes and headed towards the door. He was about the open the door when Jeevika pulled him and entrapped him against the door. "You didn't leave?"

"Mr Viren Wadhera!" Jeevika glared at him, her eyes narrowed and eye brows furrowed, her hand on her hips. Viren's anger instantly melted away, looking at the adorable face in front of him.

"Yes Mrs. Wadhera?" he replied, pulling her by the waist and began nuzzling nose against her ear-lobe.

"Stop it Viren! I am serious, you need to tell Badi Maa about us today!"

"Jeevika I will but not now, I mean I will tell her that I want to marry you."

"You want marry me? But we are already married! Why don't you just tell this to everyone?

"Try and understand Jeevika, I can't. Come sit here." he made her sit down by the bed side and sat next to her, holding her hand and patting it reassuringly.

"I understand Viren. but I can't live without you any more. It has been almost an year since we got married and still you are not ready to accept it?"

"I know. It is not that I don't want to accept it but back then I just could not tell Badi Maa about our relationship. And our marriage would certainly have had effected your career."

"Stop making mu career an excuse Viren. I don't think that career is important. After mom and dad passed away all I have is you and your love and even.." tears rolled down Jeevika's eyes as she remembered the horrible night when she lost both her parents in a car accident.Viren enclosed her in his strong arms, puling her closer. He kissed her hair trying to calm her down. He knew how weak Jeevika was physically and emotionally especially because of the untimely death of her parents. It grieved his heart to see her crying. He wanted her to be happy and fulfil her dreams even if it meant staying away from her, even if it meant giving in to her most inappropriate demands, even if it marrying her in the middle of the night without anyone's consent.

"Jeevika stop crying. Trust me Jeevika I will put things right."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

She gave a faint smile and hugged him. The two pulled back after some time, Viren traced her lips with his fingers and bent forward, just then they heard a knock at the door.
