SRK plays Good Samaritan

When your protector is murdered by another protector, that too outside your home, it can be quite unnerving. But Shah Rukh Khan, whose security man Chandraprakash Singh was killed by another guard Hitendra Singh Chauhan in August, seems to have moved past the shocking incident. The superstar has taken it upon himself to provide financial help to the victim's family.

"The guard's family had left for their hometown with his body for the last rites. We established contact with them and when they returned to Mumbai we helped them to the best of our abilities," confirmed the actor's business manager Karuna.

However, she was unwilling to disclose the amount gifted to the family. "I can only say that the family was happy with the arrangement," she said, adding, "Mr Khan principally does not believe in talking about the charities that he does and he would rather be discreet about these matters. We are not comfortable publicising the matter."
