When actor Tanushree Dutta needs an outfit, all she has to do is call her stylist and specify the occasion. "She comes over to my location, complete with an outfit, shoes and accessories," says the actor. But that doesn't stop her from doing the occasional round up of Colaba Causeway. "I believe that there are two sides to buying stuff off the street: Upside: It's a lot of fun to go street shopping with friends. It can be extremely satisfying to bargain for something, and get it at a rock bottom price. Downside: Raste ka maal isn't too big on quality. It is good for one-time wear. I bought cheap junk jewellery from Colaba Causeway's jewellery store outside Caf Leopold. It looked great when I wore them, but in a few days the beads started falling out. http://www.mid-day.com/yourlife/2006/september/144290.htm | | |
