No sympathy for Sugni

It is hard to hold much sympathy for Sugni's current plight. After all, a few months ago she was quite willing to sell herself to anyone and was willing to serve them "mind and body" for the rest of her life. TVS bought her and, as part of her own bargain, she has at least ful-filled part of the deal. No-one pressured Sugni to sell herself; that was her own choice. She could have lost her virginity to any Thakur but it turned out to be TVS.
Sugni's past has caught up with her; her desire to chase after Aditya has come back to hurt her (if she had indeed slept with TVS). Taking someone's fiance is a no-no in my book. If she really cared about Amrita instead of worrying about Reva whom she hardly knew, was not a good person and had no interest in Sugni's welfare, then this is what you get when you hurt that person. Now she has to live with the knowledge she lost it (her virginity) to TVS.
Here's the next question, can a woman easily sleep with the uncle and then the nephew? For a while, we were all looking at starry eye lovers that had not even kissed...and now?

If Sugni ends up with TVS, will he have to give back his "Best villian award?"

Laila, personally and emotionally I am more than done with this show.

Now all I want is some kind of real punishment for the makers of this show. And the punishment should not be limited to only the show getting axed.

The story writers of this show deserve public humiliation and should be put to shame in public. I don't care if it offends the makers of this show. Whoever is writing this show must have really low, disgusting, and pervert thoughts and mindset.

This is a such a complex issue. I really don't know what to say. Of course what they want to do is make Sugni the complete victim when she was the one who fully, out of choice, offerred herself up for the Sardhakai. She was the one who was willing to sleep with Aditya.

However, even a prostitute has the right to back out. That being said, she doesn't have the money to repay him. And from what I gather, she is not really trying to find another way out. She decides to go for it.

The CVs would never show that she willingly slept with him, but that scenario would not have been far fetched. But whatever the case, as is, she didn't want to do it.

None of this is so clear cut. But one thing is that the CVs want to make Sugni the complete victim and Vikram the villain. So whatever they write, I don't pay attention because I don't view it as the characters or the story. I just view it as what kind of new depths the CVs will go in order to make Adi Mahan and Vikram evil.

Sugni too I guess is "Mahan" in their eyes now, since she decided to go through with it.

I agree with your posts especially the highlighted part. All this is an attempt to make Sugni look like a victim.
My opinion is that she had other options. Vikram himself told her the fighting was illegal. She could have gone to the police. She could have seeked her mother's help. She could have let Aditya know what the deal was.
But it was her CHOICE to go through with him. It is also wrong to a point to call it rape because she did agree. She knew exactly what he was asking her to do and she agreed to it.
I also found that scene when she reached inside and heard MT saying that it is okay to lie as long as it is to save your husband's life, to be so ridiculous. I don't know if that is really written in a holy book or not but ot was so laughable that "God" forgive her for what she did.
Was there really no other option? Did Sita maiyaa feel that it is okay for a young girl to sleep with her husband's uncle and then come home to him as though nothing happened? Does Sita maiyaa feel that it was okay to continue to divide a family?

Two questions that pop into my head:

1. When Sugni was having her monologue with Sita maya before she went to TVS in the bedroom she said "she has tried many times to explain herself to him but ... (I did not catch the words but they were to the effect that he is not willing to understand).
=> My question is when has she ever tried to explain her position to him in a calm rational manner. She has told/screamed at him that she does not want to be the reason for his marriage breakdown and divorce is not acceptable by shredding the papers but as far as I can remember she has never tried to have a conversation with him about all this let along explain (she said when she was talking to SitaMaya about being a Meera that she will explain what is her stance to TVS after they have told everyone the truth which never happended because she married Adi at gun point)
2. He gave her 2 hours to get dressed. As well as doing any of the options above, surely she should have called G who would have come with that machete thing and probably killed him. Equally she should have asked him/insisted he let her explain, pleaded with him not cheapen what they had by doing this etc. Instead she thinks about killing herself and then the need to stand by Adi as he did by her and gets dressed? This was same mentally she used when Adi told her forget 20lacs go somewhere and start afresh and she would not go.
I just dont understand her thinking.

@ payal:
When Sugni went to give him the "installment" and she found out he was the one who brought her sarees, again she was quick with her "my husband' insult and threw the money in his face as though he was a beggar. She then asks him..."If he knew his Sugni that well what would she do with his proposal"
Obviously he knew his Sugni well enough because he told her she would go to him within 24 hours...Oh my my Look ...She did exactly that!
When she was going through her Wedding Sham with Adi...he kept telling her he knew she was just doing it to get back at him and she still loved him ...And Look the minute he walked away from her she started crying over him.
When she but her self up for sale...he said he Knew why she was doing it, to destroy her self...he was right...
Vickram has proved time and again he knows Sugni better than she knows herself.
She ran into the hospital room when she heard he woke up, that was the perfect time to get some privacy and explain things to him...but instead of asking Adi for a few moments alone and explain her feelings, she goes home and gets dressed up like a bride😕
SHE never gave the man the human courtesy of a rational break up. Agree to call it quits. She kept giving out mixed signals. Vickram has every right to be angry at her as he said "these two played a dirty game with my emotions!
