The CVs would never show that she succumbed willingly, but that scenario is not so far fetched. And whatever the case, she didn't want to do it, though she did end up doing it.
None of this is so clear cut. But one thing is that the CVs want to make Sugni the complete victim and Vikram the villain. So whatever they write, I don't pay attention because I don't view it as the characters or the story. I just view it as what kind of new depths the CVs will go in order to make Adi Mahan and Vikram evil.
Sugni too I guess is "Mahan" in their eyes now, since she decided to go through with it.
I agree with your posts especially the highlighted part. All this is an attempt to make Sugni look like a victim. My opinion is that she had other options. Vikram himself told her the fighting was illegal. She could have gone to the police. She could have seeked her mother's help. She could have let Aditya know what the deal was.
But it was her CHOICE to go through with him. It is also wrong to a point to call it rape because she did agree. She knew exactly what he was asking her to do and she agreed to it.
I also found that scene when she reached inside and heard MT saying that it is okay to lie as long as it is to save your husband's life, to be so ridiculous. I don't know if that is really written in a holy book or not but ot was so laughable that "God" forgive her for what she did.
Was there really no other option? Did Sita maiyaa feel that it is okay for a young girl to sleep with her husband's uncle and then come home to him as though nothing happened? Does Sita maiyaa feel that it was okay to continue to divide a family?
