Till now our modern darling had only showed her true avatar to the Shekhar family & in parts, to Singh family. Today she showed the entire district, the rock bottom level she is capable of. Successfully, she has displayed to the entire district, her petty attitude, ridiculus bias against Anandi, vindictive streak, jealous nature, pure hatred & whatever shrewdness she has. Big Congrats to her for giving herself the title of "evil Sis in law" in everyone's mind. Yay! Three cheers! šŸ‘ šŸ‘

In the process she has also managed to completely embarass & disgrace her family, get herself rebuked by her own family, make her grandfather apologize to the entire family of the bride & give a public apology after getting reprimanded by her brother! Wow she is truly a high achieving, inspiring girl. Oops, 'modern girl'.

Thanks CVs for her public humiliation. Maybe there is justice in this world. 😊

@Mansi, As they say to each their own. You thought and so did I that Saanchi's behavior was outlandish by far, rude by million miles and there is a word in Bengali called "oshobhyo", cannot translate. Meant to be a very bad word, if I say that in a tram, the other guy will beat me up with his umbrella ! That bad šŸ˜’. That is what I think Saanchi was.

But will it amuse you to know that there is a small group, they are called 'oppose the mainstream thoughts', actually liked Saanchi's performance and behavior? So as I said, each to their own, the good news is that a lot of us felt the way you did.

Good post.

Very nice post Mansimat...
Agree with your point of view..
But am sure Sanchi's behaviour is not gonna change so soon...
On the contrary this public humiliation is going to anger her even more and make her even more vicious...
Hope that the changed Jagya (if he does remain changed) changes her attitude and behaviour also...That could be quite an interesting track to watch...And would permanently redeem Jagya in the eyes of all viewers...

Thanks for your compliment Yash! I thought my thread was long buried in the pages of the forum! LOL.
Ya, in reality also, such disgusting people have a loyal set of supporters. No worries, as long as we are personally clear about what's our stand on such rude, insensitive and inconsiderate people. As long as society is composed of a majority of people like us, who look down on such things, our value system will remain good. And we will continue to espouse goodness. In this forum as well as society.

Let her get more angry, more vicious and she will get equivalent in return. Like all other 'grey' characters who lost whatever they cherished for their selfishness.
I don't want Jagya to change her attitude, I want him to concentrate on actually changing himself first!
